We stayed at the Churchill Hotel for 2 nights earlier this month. We enjoyed the experience. We stayed in Room 112. We requested a room with an air conditioner but as it was fairly chilly we didn't use it. The room was a nice size and our window overlooked the main little street in Bayeux. The location was great. The...

We loved our stay in the hotel, we wish we would have had more time. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for 1 adult male child, 1 adult female child and a stepfather. The breakfast was adequate but in the future I would prefer to opt out on the breakfast included. The hotel was in a perfect setting and very central...

We stayed here with another couple for two nights this week and, after busy days, we felt that we were coming home at night. The staff were so friendly and efficient and had a great sense of humor. I would recommend the Hotel Churchill to anyone coming to visit Bayeux and it's surrounding areas. It's conveniently located in the center...

We stayed at the Churchill in June for 3 nights. We had 2 rooms for our family. The rooms were very night. The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was excellent. The hotel service was exceptional, especially Emilie at the front desk. She went out of her way to be helpful to us. All of her recommendations for restaurants and...

A very nice hotel with good sized room and bathroom. Convenient to everything. It was 122 steps from the door to where we were to meet our guide for the D Day Tour. A grocery store right next door. Very nice staff. Pictures on walls are amazing.

Our family stayed here 3 nights. A wonderful hotel....nice area to eat a wonderful breakfast, nice little library to play games, be on the computer, read. Comfortable areas where you do not have to sit in your room all the time. Middle of town. Pleasant and helpful staff. We all felt this was the most pleasant part of our extensive...

The room was large and very nice. The hotel staff are terrific, very helpful and accommodating. The location is great, close to everything including the cathedral, tapestry and train station. The town of Bayeux was not damaged during the war so the older buildings and cathedral which date back many centuries were preserved. The town is convenient to the Normandy...

Just stayed at the Churchill Hotel for four days during the D-Day anniversary period. From the minute I checked in the staff were friendly and accommodating, a real pleasure to spend time with. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and especially the WWII history in the region. Helpful and informative every step of the way. Rooms comfortable and well...

Very convenient town centre location for restaurants etc. Tapestry & cathedral located a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of car parking to the rear though we did struggle to find it the first time down a few one way streets! Hotel Churchill was our base for exploring D Day landing sites etc and for that purpose, could not imagine any...

I have just returned from another marvelous stay at the Churchill. I have stayed at the hotel every June for the past five years and each year is even better than the previous year. The owners, Rima and Francois Hebert, and their outstanding staff are the consummate hosts to each of their guests. They get to know you and couldn't...
