In our 7 night stay, the first thing we noticed is how busy the restaurant was, which proved to be a destination in itself. In room 9, we had a great view of the cathedral! There is an outside area in the back which was a great place to have an afternoon refreshment. The staff was very accommodating to us......

The staff at Reine Mathlide was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on-site is very good and frequented by locals as well. You could not get a better location for walking to all of the sites in Bayeux....Cathedral is next door, the Tapestry is one block behind.

Liked the hotel, loved the convenience and location. Very easy to walk to various attractions like D-Day tour buses, tapestry, cathedral. Good base for driving to D-Day beaches. Same menu every day for breakfast. We had great parking karma in that we found a small lot half a block away across the creek that had free parking over the weekend;...

We stayed 4 nights in early Sept. The hotel location is great but 24-hour free parking is a 10-minute walk away. The room - and especially the bathroom - was small but clean and updated. The restaurant was convenient but just okay.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had a standard room overlooking the cathedral for €85 per night. The breakfast was €9.50 each per day on top. The hotel was in the centre of Town and was 4 mins walk away from the Bayeux Tapestry. Its 15 mins drive away from the DDay landing beaches. The room which...

Really enjoyed our stay while touring the D-day beaches. Rooms are pretty small but very comfortable and nicely done. Not sure why there are retractable metal blinds, but it was fun. Easy to walk around town and to the train station.

Good, friendly hotel conveniently located near the cathedral, restaurants, and shopping. Our modern room was located on the third floor, but stairs were not a problem because we had just carry-on bags.

The staff and breakfast were very good. Our room was on the top floor, which offered a great view of the cathedral across the street. But it was very hot when we were there and they do not have air conditioning. They had fans in the rooms, which helped a lot.
