We chose Hotel Le Bayeux because of reviews on TripAdvisor, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by friendly staff, and were pleased with an exceptionally clean room and newly renovated bathroom. (We were celebrating our anniversary and had asked for a special room.) The breakfast included a wide variety of food in a cozy dining room. The hotel...

The hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to the Cathedral, Tapestry Museum and plenty of shopping and restaurants. The rooms aren't fancy, but are very clean and comfortable. The staff is what made the stay perfect. They speak very good English, were extremely knowledgeable about the area and thanks to them, had an amazing day of sightseeing of World War...

I paid for what I hoped was a larger room, it was a room with 3 beds, no extra space at all. That one is on me. Our room looked right out on cars. I think that it is a nice enough hotel, it is very convenient, the staff was agreeable. I would try hard to find another hotel if...

The staff were very friendly and helpful - after arriving rather late in the evening, the staff made sure we could get into a nearby restaurant for good meal before closing. It was over the top service from the hotel and the meal was one of the best we had! We were very impressed. The rooms were clean and comfortable....

This hotel is in a great location. We walked to see the tapestry and could stroll around the town easily to eat and shop. Rooms are very Spartan and bath tiny, but more than sufficient. In fact, my bed was extremely comfortable, with lovely linens and great pillows. Pluses include library with books about the region, breakfast that includes yummy...

We had booked a room in the main hotel, but upon arrival the owner upgraded us to a room in the newly restored chateau that they own, a short drive away. We had what I believe is the only first floor room, very large with a fireplace and beautiful modern bathroom. French doors led out to a lovely garden with...

In June 2014, I traveled to Normandy, France to take my son to the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. My father landed in Normandy in 1944. I have traveled all over the world and Bayeux is one of my favorite places on Earth. Bayeux is a beautiful, little town very near to Omaha and all the D-Day beaches. The Churchill Hotel...

Hotel Bayeux has a wonderful location and a very helpful staff. The room was quite serviceable. Plenty of warm water and a good bed. Breakfast was very appealing with assorted croissants and pastries as well as bacon and eggs. Patricia at the front desk was always smiling and helped with storing luggage and advice. The hotel was safe and clean...

We needed a layover on our drive to Brittany for the school holidays and were very keen to see the DDay beaches. So we were pleased that Hotel Le Bayeux could take us. It was a little bit more than we like to pay, but it's reviews convinced us. We were very pleased with what we arrived to. The little...
