This hotel is one of the few hotels which can accommodate a family with 3 children. Our room, number 22, had a separate sleeping area with beds for all 3 kids (yay!). The hotel is within easy walking distance of the railway station, even for the 2.5 year old. The breakfast is lovely and the children were not charged, even...

If you really want to have an authentic European Experience, this is the place! Small, but modern rooms, great, helpful, friendly staff, nice breakfast. This hotel is within walking distance of all of Bayeux. The hotel booked us on a FANTASTIC tour of the D-Day areas with a guide named Francois...He was so good! We stayed at Hotel Bayuex for 2 nights, it is a nice 3 star with 5 star service. Centrally located in the Normand town of Bayuex excellent location to explore all of Normandy. Recommendations from the staff on restaurants and Invasion Beach tours were invaluable. We drove our car to all the sites and passed on a guide. The markers...

Nice and friendly welcome from the manager and the hotel is not so modern, but clean, cozy and it makes you feel at home and welcome. The town Bayeaux is small and the hotel is central located, close to the Notre Dame cathedral. Parking for free on the street just outside the hotel. On the downside: The WiFi was free...

Despite a little error on my behalf with the booking dates, Hotel Le Bayeux was very accommodating and helpful in putting us up (since there was, thankfully) a room free. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and minutes away from the city centre. We stayed here with a small infant and the room that we were in had a...

Two of us spent one night in this comfortable hotel in the heart of Bayeux. We took a train from Paris in the afternoon as we wanted to get an early start for Overlord Tour of the Normany beaches the next morning. The beds were so comfortable with soft sheets and the plushest of comforters. I look for things like...

We booked this hotel from the reviews and the proximity to the beaches of Normandy. It was close to everything in the old section of town especially Notre Dame Cathedral and the tapestry museum. The paid for breakfast was a good value, varied and plentiful. The breakfast room was nicely decorated and facing the Church. The staff in the kitchen couldn't...

I highly recommend Hotel Le Bayeux. My wife and I stayed there for a couple of nights this past February while we visited Normandie. The hotel gave us the "historical" experience we were looking for. It's just a short walk from the train station (we actually walked to the hotel when we arrived) and the center of town. Althought it's...

This hotel has a great location and the breakfast was good. Otherwise, the service was mixed: some nice people and one very rigid woman who practically told me what I could and could not do in Bayeux. The room was OK but not exceptional in any way.
