We stayed at the Tardif last week. This is not a modern hotel so if that's what you're looking for, this is not the place. If on the other hand, you want to feel that you are having a truly French experience, the Tardif is a wonderful place. The home itself is lovely, filled with beautiful antiques and furniture. The...

We spent two months in Europe, with about two weeks in France. One of the most enjoyable places we stayed was at this property. We loved the old world charm and "feel" of the Hotel Tardif. We planned our trip to include a variety of lodgings and this 18th century manor house was an amazing experience. Our room was very...

We just returned from France, including a two night stay at the Hotel Tardif. We were so impressed with the location (right by the Bayeux Cathedral), but were even more pleased with the wonderful 18th century house and the great service. Anthony, the owner, is a fantastic host -- he is even going to the trouble of sending us some...

We are a couple in our early 60's and we recommend this hotel. This hotel is centrally located and allows easy access to the D-Day beaches, Honfleur, Caen, Mt. St. Michel, etc. It offers free parking and comfortable rooms in a charming guest house filled with antiques. Anthony is a great host, full of helpful information about the area. The...

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful quaint "hotel" in Bayeux and simply loved it! Anthony, the owner, is a fantastic host...very friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is really not like a hotel at all. It is a truly comfortable B&B that provides a quiet retreat from the tourist sites in the surrounding area. We had a delicious assortment...

A real slice of Europe, very charming old guesthouse full of antiques. Beautiful garden, a quiet oasis in the midst of a city. Great parking. It is situated about 4 blocks from the major shopping street, and across the street from the Tapestry Museum and the Cathedral.

Our trip to Bayeux was somewhat of a pilgrimage to the Tapestry Museum. We slept and relaxed around the corner, at the incredible Hotel Tardif. The host was kind and helpful, especially when we needed advice about trains to Caen. We also spent a gorgeous evening on the hotel's patio, among summer flowers, cool breezes, singing birds, and a very...

We had a lovely stay at the Noble Guesthouse which is in sight of the Cathedral and near the museum. Perfect central location. The guesthouse was a relaxing, elegant building with much character. Our room was quiet, spacious and spotless. It faced the gardens and was so peacefully relaxing. Many beautiful antiques decorated the house. Anthony was a gracious, attentive...

Although there are many good options for lodging in the town of Bayuex, the Noble Tardiff was the perfect choice for our recent stay. It had everything that I was hoping to find for our three night stay.  The rooms were very large - all the more so after we arrived in Paris to find how small the rooms are...
