This was a return visit for us after very nice stay previously. The hotel is in a good position with relatively easy access off the main ring road. Main tram stop just down the road for easy way into Caen itself which was good fun and value through buying multi trip tickets. Sunday morning market was well worth the trip...

I turned up here at around 6 pm with my 12 year old son without a booking and having just followed the road signs. They had a comfortable, spacious and clean room for E105. It was near a huge supermarket, so we could buy a 'picnic' dinner, and we used the mini-bar for some milk in the morning for breakfast....

We arrived on Friday 26th October and was really surpised how modern and clean the reception area was. There was a Playstation and small childrens play area which kept the kids occupied while we booked in and while we had a few drinks in the small bar. The room was ample, clean and warm. The shower excellent. The only down...

The Novotel Caen was much older and more run down than I expected it to be. My room reeked of cigarettes, even though I had requested a non-smoking room. We had booked a triple, but the third bed in the room (a sofa bed) had not been pulled out, nor were we given enough towels for three. The shower curtain...

We took a break in March to see Caen, Mont Saint Michelle etc. with 2 children aged 8 & 10. We found the hotel staff to be friendly and welcoming, the room spacious, clean and well prepared and breakfast relaxed and abundant. In summary, a reasonably priced, clean and hassle free stop over ideally placed for visiting Caen and Normandy...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in the easter break 2006 and took my boyfriend's brother of 14 along with us. The room was basic but very very clean with tv and coffee making facilities. Beds were very comfortable, even the sofa bed was comfy. The breakfast at the hotel is quite a good price and very very nice with...

The Novotel at Caen was a good refreshing Hotel. It had air-conditioning which made a difference in the Heat of July. I noticed a pool as well for those with Kids. After a mix up with our booking (probably due to translation we had been given 2 rooms instead of 1) everything was sorted out and we enjoyed our overnight...

Hotel was a good central location for touring around Normandy/ St. Michel area as is just off the highway. Finding the hotel the first time - was a bit confusing -so don't panic if you seem to be lost. If you are looking for a hotel with things to do right around the hotel - this is not your choose...

The Novotel Caen Cote de Nacre is a typical Novotel. The rooms are usually clean but they need renovation. The swimming pool is nice in summer if you have children. The restaurant is good, but expensive. Drinks at the bar are overpriced. 6 euro for a pint ofbeer!! Breakfast is good. Recommandation: Go downtown for Dinner. The tramway in Caen...
