This was one of the best hotel in France. I found the hotel extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very delicious. The breakfast room was also very clean, well decorated and the food items were always replenished. I can not say enough good things about this hoe. The absolute BEST thing was the entire staff. You...

Hotel Bristol is well located, between Caen train station and the city centre. The friendly staff are happy to help and provide a fantastic breakfast. The transparent bathroom door is a little strange but easy to cope with if travelling as a couple. Would definitely stay here again!

Booked solely on the price point for a quick weekend trip around Normandy. However, we were very impressed starting from the very friendly reception at the front desk (the guy was kind enough to attempt to make several dinner reservations for us last minute) to the size and comfort of our room. Location is also great, less than 10 minutes...

Brilliant place, right in the Centre. Found it 1st time unlike some others. Rooms are small (unless you get a free upgrade like we did) but at this price it's easily the best value in Caen. Great for eating in the centre and catching the ferry next morning.

A short walk from the city centre and its fabulous architecture, great shopping and lively bars, this is a great value hotel. Small frontage and reception area and quaint old stylee ( with a great old lift that must be from the 50s or 60s) ambience. The rooms whilst not 'modern' are furnished and decorated in a contemporary style. The...

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting relatives. It's half way between the railway station and the centre of town, not far from the banks of the Orne. The bedroom we had (chambre 36) was of a good size, with a big bed and reasonable wardrobe space. The bathoom was large, with a bath/shower. The hotel is quiet and spotlessly...

Words could never accurately describe our wonderful experience and good fortune of staying at the Hotel Bristo! The staff is beyond reproach! You'll never find anyone so kind and caring. We'll, maybe your mom or grandma. Le Roy (Yolanda) was the perfect hostess! She treated my wife and I like family! So personable, friendly, and so passionate to help you...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bristol. The hotel is charming, our host Yolande and Laurent were so nice and so accommodating. We felt they truly wanted our stay in Normandy to be special. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful for an all day excursion to the Normandy Beaches. The location is perfect for strolling, the market is well worth...

Booked the Bristol as we were catching the early morning ferry. Not the easiest place to find, but there are signs. Comfortable, bathroom small but very clean. And a good night's sleep! Must mention the very helpful and friendly staff who helped sort the car park and gave directions to the big Leclerc in Caen. Convenient for city centre eateries...

We had a nice, modern room. The only strange thing was the semi transparent bathroom (incl. toilet) door. It has a private car park which proved to be free. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Wifi worked well. There are bars in the street but with closed windows there is no problem with the noise.
