I am not sure why this hotel has received negative reviews in the past. It's important to review it against what it proposes to be which is a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star hotel. With this in mind it is perfectly understandable that...More

It was some time ago so I can't remember that much. We weren't tempted to leave the hotel because there was nothing much in the vicinity - not an eatery in sight. I seem to recall that someone at reception asked if we would be having dinner that night and gave us a menu to look at. There were three choices of main course and three, I think, of dessert. I certainly don't remember paying over the odds and the quality was fine.... but it wasn't Masterchef.
