We stayed one night at Les Moulin des Chennevieres B&B on our way down to southern France. This is a really quaint, higgledy piggeldy water mill sitting in extensive grounds on the edge of Giverny and within walking distance of the village centre. It is a bit rustic and very unusual. We had the Lilac Room on the first floor,...

Moulin des Chennevieres is an extension of Monet's Garden which is just a couple of blocks away. The grounds are full of willows, an authentic mill which is running, quaint stream, and lots of French Countryside Atmosphere. We spent 3 nights with Stephanie and Gerard and felt as if we were family. They both went the extra mile to see...

During our trip in august/september 2011 (while following the footsteps of the impressionists) we stayed two nights with Stefanie and Gerard in there lovely mill. It was one of those nice, unexpected experiences to find yourself suddenly to be part of such a lovely setting: spectacular site, wonderful restored watermill and absolutely surprising guestrooms, all with different styling and decoration....

We spent the night at this bed and breakfast, chambre Marguerite, a few weeks ago. I chose it for its lovely location and the animal park which would appeal to our three year old daughter. Another reason for chosing this bed and breakfast is that the website said that dogs are welcome. Our small dog, a Scottish terrier, came along...

I never answer to review because everybody can think and write what they want but I fell not happy and tired with people who write bad comments because they have this kind of behaviour. When they arrive on the 28 of May at 11h00 in the morning with the taxi they were not happy because the room wasn't ready.(Our guest...

We stayed here one night and wished we were able to spend more days. Our hosts, Stephanie and Gerard, were very friendly and helpful when we had a concern with our car. The setting is lovely- an authentic old mill surrounded by extensive gardens replete with flowers. We especially enjoyed sipping our wine outside while being entertained by their menagerie...

The highlight of this hotel was the food. The breakfast, which was included in the tariff, was sensational and the dinner, which we chose to have, was one of the best meals we had in France. It was tasty, generous, home cooking at its best. We stayed in the Coquilecot (Poppy) room for one night. The room was simply furnished...

We stayed here on route home from the Loire Valley, to break our journey as 5 hours travelling is a bit much for our 2-year-old. We shared the two room suite with my parents and there was plenty of room for a cot as well as a large balcony with views of the lovely grounds. The house is beautiful and...

We chose the Moulin for a couple of days relaxation before hitting Paris. At first sight the place is charming with its picturesque tower and courtyard and the house is a carefully and thoughtfully set up establishment with beautifully themed and comfortable rooms and a high level of housekeeping efficiency. The gardens are delightful and scrupulously maintained. Unlike some reviewers...

We shared the “Sunflower” and “Buttercup” suite with our friends who had travelled with us. This included 2 independent rooms with a private terrace opening onto the garden with a private bathroom with bathtub! After walking 120km in the Loire Valley, this was a welcomed oasis. Stephanie and Gerard were very welcoming and helpful. Their daughters Lucy and Marion added...

The property is expansive with a beautiful creek, gardens, and outdoor seating areas under the trees. Quieter than other B&B's located on the lane shared with Monet's home. Stephanie went above and beyond in assisting us. We forgot to get a gate key, so she tracked us down at a nearby restaurant to hand deliver to us. She was a...
