My husband picked this motel as there are only a couple available in the area for our recent visit there. Upon our arrival I felt we had arrived back in the 1960's. We checked in and were advised our room was at the rear of the building. Upon entering the room we were welcomed with an awful, musty smell in...

Excellent home cooked meal. Great bacon. Sausage divine. Perfect hash browns. Friendly service. A must stop on our cross canada adventure. Nice small diner. Casual atmosphere. Expansive menu. Pies look good.

I stopped at the Robin's Nest for lunch today on my way to Winnipeg from Brandon. I had a patty melt which was totally fantastic; very large and loaded with cheese - what a bargain also (not expensive at all for what you get). I had a piece of homemade Saskatoon pie with ice cream for dessert - again.....fantastic!! This...

Very pleased with this family owned and operated hotel and cafe. Clean and pleasant rooms. Good food. Owners helpful and attentive with advice about hiking plans for Spruce Woods Provincial Park. Spent the day hiking the Spirit Sands and Devils Punchbowl trails. Looks like other options for hiking, swimming, etc.

My wife and I loved the Robins Nest Motel. We arrived at about 730 and Bob was really welcoming, and got us settled in quickly (which was good as food stopped being served at 8!). the food was fantastic, really tasty and filling and we never felt rushed by the staff or by Bob, we were allowed to finish in...

My family needed to pick a location to meet between Minnedosa and Winnipeg; 3 members live in Minnedosa and 2 in Winnipeg. We chose this restaurant knowing absolutely nothing about it. T say we were pleased with the quality of the food and service would be a gross understatement. Our order consisted of 2 breakfasts and 3 sandwich plates including...

Going from Winnipeg to Regina we had planned to stay in Portage La Prairie. Problem was there was a hockey tournament so no rooms. What a delight to come across this little place. At midnight in February it is quite cold so walking into a warm, clean room was a delight. Have to take the service road on the south...

Most motels were booked up in Brandon, and received bad reviews as well. Then we found The Robin's Nest Motel on Trip Advisor and read great reviews. We were late getting there but they were there to accommodate us. We got in the room quickly and noticed it was very clean with mini fridge and microwave and satellite TV. Bed...
