A lovely warm welcome smiles and information straight away. We were shown to our table which was in the round of the oast. It was busy a good indication of popularity. The menu choices were varied enough to suit most dietary needs. A good range of drinks were available too. The meal itself was lovely cooked to a high standard....

We stayed four nights at Playden Oasts Inn while we were visiting Rye on the occasion of our 45th wedding anniversary. It is ideally situated only a few minutes car drive from Rye town centre. Our room was clean & welcoming and the beds & pillows extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a good selection of cereals and...

We stayed in the family room, just for one night, just because we wanted more space! I read comments about hearing other guests, but because we were right at the end,we did not have this problem. The decor is lovely, and the towels really white and fluffy. the beds, shower etc all great. We decided to stay there for dinner...

The landlord was serving behind the bar and was very welcoming.and organised a table in the restaurant for us. The food was good and service was polite. The soundtrack playing in the background was particularly good (...

We stayed as 2 couples in the lovely Oast rooms. Interesting conversions which look good but lacked attention to detail. I couldn't find a plug socket that let you dry your hair whilst looking in a mirror. Easy to see a lot of dust and cobwebs whilst looking for a socket. Generally dusty but clean comfy round bed and lovely...
