Very small, only five rooms, but wonderful hotel. All the rooms are different from ground floor opening to the courtyard to duplex rooms with their own spiral staircase. We were all delighted with the three rooms we had. Breakfast was good and included in the price with a good choice on offer. The WiFi was free and worked well in... More

Spent only 1 night there, but were absolutely impressed. Great location, cute rooms, very nice staff and a good breakfast left us stunned. The old school is offering charming rooms in an absolutely peaceful environment. Make sure if elderly people with walking/climbing capabilities to choose the rooms on the ground-floor.

We loved our stay here. For the Saturday market, we walked out the door, took a few steps down the street, and were in the middle of the market. The old church and port are also just steps away (less than 5 minutes walk), and we loved staying in a historic building that felt like charming old France. Our room... More

A wonderfully quirky historic building close to everything Honfleur has to offer, but very quiet. Lovely room, huge choice at breakfast, super-friendly helpful staff, good WiFi. If I've left anything out its because I can't think of it. Only thing I would say is that it would not work for the disabled or very elderly because of steps and stairs.

We just spent 5 enjoyable nights in Honfleur. The hotel is clean, the staff is great and the breakfasts are far more than just acceptable. There is no A/C so plan your visit during the right time of year. We would definitely stay at l'ecole again.

We stayed two nights and loved this place. Tucked away just behind the main highlights of Honfleur it was a real gem. The decor and ambiance of the whole building was outstanding and very comfortable, although I don't think it was very accessible. The stairs were narrow and very uneven and the room we had in the attic had a... More

Stayed here for two nights. The whole place has a rustic feel which works without feeling contrived. Location is excellent, being in the old town and a few yards from the harbour. Nevertheless, it is extremely quite. Staff where very accommodating without being overly familiar. The bed in our room was a bit hard, but not so much to prevent... More

I think one should be prepared for the stay knowing exactly what to expect. The place has charm, it is decorated modestly, but interesting, with good doze of creativity: wooden boxes as night tables, wooden bins, provincial style furniture is mixed with vintage and all it gives to a place a farm house' look. Nice carpets make it cosy. For... More

Not your typical chambre d'hote (B&B)! It's an old school house that's been converted into a Rustic, eclectic with modern charm hotel. There are only a couple of rooms. We stayed in the duplex which offers a deck off the master bedroom. It's very quiet. No city noise even though you are a block away from the busy harbor. Though... More

This is a charming and beautifully restored B&B, in a quiet road just a couple of minutes walk from the busy waterfront area. Our room was minimalist but well furnished and the bathroom had lots of space. It doesn't have main drains. The rooms are around 2 courtyards and ours on the first floor was very spacious and the bed... More
