We stayed for one night in August, good standard of decoration & cleanliness in the three rooms we occupied. Welcoming staff on arrival. Downsides to staying there in August is the high room rate and the lack of air conditioning. Good location for Honfleur, don't bother booking a hotel breakfast, we found a nice little french cafe virtually next door...

We stayed for 3 nights in August 2010 and found this hotel a perfect place to stay to see Honfleur at a reasonable price. Rooms small but have everything would expect including fridge and tea making facilities. Good views of Pont de Normandy from room. Although hotel on main (quite busy) road into Honfleur no noise in room when windows...

Good location and good rooms. Staff were friendly. Did not partake in breakfast so can't comment on that. Only downside was lack of air conditioning in the room. Apart from this, a very comfortable stay. Would recommend this as a solid (if not exciting) option.

An excellent location, within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking at the rear for a small additional charge but worth it as Honfleur does get very busy. The rooms are clean and well presented and there is the bonus of a small fridge. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English and also managed to understand my...

Decent hotel within walking distance of the town centre- tourist information centre is probably around 400yds away. Good modern facilities and benefit of having its own car park- which although expensive, does remove issues about finding parking- which on a sunny weekend would have been tricky otherwise. Customer service good and would recommend this hotel as a good base to...

I find all Mercure hotels suit me where ever they are. This one didnt have a resturant must be because Honfleur is packed with them around the quayside. Breakfast was excellent and staff very good. Rooms didnt lack anything even had tea/coffee facilities unusual in France Ideal position and secure parking

We've just returned from a long weekend with friends in Honfleur . We stayed for 3 nights in the Mercure hotel, and it was very enjoyable. Upon arrival, I was a little worried as the hotel doesn't look that great from the outside. However, the rooms were a pleasant surprise, albeit a little on the small size. They were nicely...

Honfleur hotels book up well in advance, and a Mercure would not normally be my choice if a more "French" establishment were available, which was not the case However,we were argeeably surprised by many aspects of this particular hotel.Although not in the historic centre, this is only a five minute level walk away, and the view ,from a front room,of the Normandy Bridge, river, and a...

We stayed at the Mercure recently and I would recommend it as a good base in Honfleur. It is only a short walk from the harbour and all the main shops and restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean and it was really good value for money. We got a deal from the hotel's website which ended up being about...

Our first journey abroad with our 2-month old son. The Mercure was excellent. Easy to find, parking for €7 per day, smart clean rooms with travel cot as requested. Staff were very friendly. There was a helpful area guide on the front desk. 5 minute walk into the town centre. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus. We opted not to pay...
