The hotel is located in the centre or Rouen. The problem is that it is old. It is clean but a renew is necessary. There is not air condition and in case of warm weather could be a problem (even if there is a fan). Some room are on a Street where during the weekend there could be some noise...

We stayed one night; excellent location right in the centre of the old town. Room traditionally decorated, good size. Bed very comfortable and excellent night's sleep. Great access to Rouen, staff friendly and available to help you if needed. Wifi did not work in the room but did in the lobby; coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the room but you have...

We booked the standard room for 1 night. Nothing special was needed since we wanted to discover the city. Acces to parking was clearly explained on the phone, so no trouble there. Rate of 13 euros per night seems a fair deal. Hotel is perfectly located, just a stroll from the shops, bars, restaurants and the cathedral. Room was very...

We greatly enjoyed our four-night stay at the Dandy in Rouen. If you think you'd enjoy the half-timbered houses and narrow streets of the old town, this hotel's location is perfect. The city isn't huge and has a good, cheap-to-use metro network and buses so you could choose somewhere further out but there's something very appealing about walking out of...

The best thing about this hotel is the lovely lady on reception who couldn't do enough to welcome us and talk to us about what to do on our quick stop off on route to Calais.Recommend the superior room , pretty decor, lovely view of old timber buildings, just needs new bathroom suite but was clean enough .The welcome from...

We booked in advance, mainly for the typical French look of the rooms and we were not disappointed! Rooms and bathrooms were clean but without tea/coffee making facilities. No problem though - the room was just a base to explore the town! We parked nearby, on the street overnight. Would stay again and recommend to all!

Like other reviewers we used the parking, in our case we were on a motor bike so much easier to navigate the pedestrian area. Wonderful welcome from Victor who once we'd unloaded, showed us to a delightful room across the (covered) bridge to the annexe rooms. Personally I loved the traditional decor, truly french and beautiful. Room was very large...

We booked in advance and requested use of the parking. Everything ran smoothly, you just need to be aware that vehicular access to the hotel is through a pedestrian area so you have to buzz at the end of the street to gain access. The hotel was clean, the rooms simple and the decor traditional. So much more homely than...

This is a nice and simple hotel. The rooms are clean and neat. We were allowed to take the dog in our room. Nice people, good location near the city center with a lot of restaurants. Everything reachable by foot.

We had reseved a room elsewhere but were let down so we booked this 2 days before we needed to stay. We booked this hotel because of the price and private parking. Hotel was easy to find but we struggled to actually get to it because of bollards in the road. IF we had read the info on our booking...
