The hotel is tucked away behind the church but very close to the promenade and all amenities. The accommodation is spread across a number of detached buildings with their own entrances and style and it has a lovely atmosphere and lends itself to sitting outside with a glass at the end of a hard day on the beach - or...

We stayed here a few years ago, and as we are in La Baule again we went here for dinner. Nothing disappointed! We had not reserved a table but they welcomed us in. Opening hours 7.30 to 9.30 pm I had a delicious starter of "bar" not sure what that is in English actually! Then I had sea bass with...

An attractive hotel characteristic of the original buildings in La Baule. The terrace is ideal for pre-dinner aperitifs. High quality food and service. Some excellent restaurants nearby as an alternative if the set menu doesn't appeal.

A very comfortable stay with a family of 5 and nice room tucked away in nice gardens. We ate at the restaurant, which was very good but not cheap. Breakfast was overpriced and there was no discount for children, but overall we would stay here again. Location and car parking facilities above average for the area too

This is a lovely characterful hotel situated in an upmarket residential part of La Baule, but only a 5 minute walk from the town centre and the sea front. Rooms are found in various buildings in the grounds, with reception and the restaurant and sitting rooms in the main house. Four of us stayed for 3 nights and ate in...

Our previous visit to this hotel was in 2011 and since then there have been numerous improvements. Above all, everywhere was very clean and tidy and the bedroom was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and it was nice to have fresh orange juice. The evening meal was outstanding, with every course full of flavour and...

This hotel has warmth in spirit - in winter there is a log fire in the library, the dining room has charm, the bedrooms are cosy - you just feel like going back there. You should enjoy the nearby open food market & the brilliant sweet shop on the corner of the main shopping street & the seafront where the...

We spent two nights here in a 'character' room. Can only be described as excellent for the price. The restaurant is equally good and we look forward to returning. Our stay was for the Christmas celebrations and the staff as well as the hotel were charming. Only recommendation for the future: Please include kettle and tea/coffee in the rooms. They...

This hotel has various houses next to the main building where guests stay. The house we were in had 12 bedrooms and ours was very comfortable with good bed and a bathroom which was a decent size although the bath was rather narrow. The Wifi was desperately slow. We slept well and the room was quiet. See my separate report...

A wonderful location overlooking a sandy beach and marina. The rooms are well appointed and are of a four star standard. The only issue is the price differential for having a room with a sea view which is not really worth the extra 40 euros.
