When driving up the lane and you see the chateau in the distinct, you go wow, is this really it!? The venue looks fantastic, but the closer you get, the more worrying... Well, after 10 minutes waiting for the receptionist, we got our keys. The ladies appears to be the only non-guest we have seen during negotiations the stay... The...

We stayed three nights in one of the A-frame cottages on the property of this chateau. After a week in Paris, the peace and quiet was nice. While the cottage was comfortable, they are in need of cleaning and maintenance. The front stair to our cottage was collapsed, but just left in place. The deck was a nice place to...

We stayed at the Chateau de Razay for three nights as we visited some of the chateaux in the Loire valley. It was a lovely place to stay, and we enjoyed every bit of it. Use a GPS and you won't have to worry a bit. It is close to many of the chateaux and a lovely, luxurious stay. The...

We stayed here last week for one night after touring around the region. We took note of all the positive reviews and ignored the one poor review - however we mostly agree with this reviewer. We arrived after travelling on a very hot day. We were shown to the breakfast room and then our room - up in the roof...

What a little gem this is, set in huge grounds it is ideal for relaxing walks, With the exception of the pet pig snoring and birds singing not much else happens. Although the edition of a restaurant would be nice, but Montpoupon is only a 3 min drive away. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. If there is a slight...

For a simply wonderful stay in the Loire Valley you can not go wrong in choosing this little gem. I say little because it is one of the smaller castles in the Loire region compared with the big name chateaux you'll be visiting - Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont etc... Just outside the village of Céré-la-ronde, Chateau de Razay offers bed and...

The kids said it best: "Can we stay here every night?". The family room was huge and decorated beautifully. The kids thought the little individual beds were the most comfortable they had all trip. We walked around the grounds and saw the pigs and horses and enjoyed seeing nature and peace and quiet. For breakfast they had setup a wonderful...
