Actually we would stay at this hotel in laon this weekend during a rally. Pierre was very helpfull and kind during the booking on telephone and by mail. Unfortunately the rally was canceled and we did not travel to Laon. We cancelled our booking 2 weeks before, and they did not charge any cancellation fee! Not even a advance payment was requested. We really appreciate this! especially this COVID-time. Not every hotel does this we know this from expercience. If we go to Laon again we will definitely go to this hotel based on this experience!

This is a lovely hotel in an old building in central Laon. We had a delightful room in a kind of attic. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom good. Breakfast was typical of a French hotel and very good value. With a bit of starting up it could be an expensive boutique hotel, but fortunately it remains a quirky but comfortable overnight stop.

It's a beautiful building but very tired. We received a warm welcome but the whole place needs some work. Our bathroom was dirty and had peeling paint on the ceiling, broken blind etc. It's a shame because it's a lovely building with bags of character. The owner did say the following morning that they were renovating. I just felt the price wasn't justified. Good location very central, near the impressive cathedral. We stayed a Monday night so most of the commerce and restaurants were shut. On a practical note we had 2 small children and were on the 2nd floor and had 2 flights of steep stairs to climb with quite a lot of bags, it didn't bother us but might bother some.

We much enjoyed this old hotel.Alright it is not a functional Ibis type hotel but it has charm and character in abundance. Bed and ensuite facilities fine. Breakfast simple but fresh. Could be cold in winter but would definitely book again as it is different. Proprietor very helpful. It is right for Laon, an historic town fighting hard to develop its tourism. Well worth visiting the town deserves to succeed.

Two sympathetic brothers holding this charming hotel. We were received with a warm welcome and felt at home right away. This old building is patiently restored/renovated with love and taste. The rooms are clean and comfortable and fully equipped (wifi, tv). And to top it all, the hotel is located in the heart of the old town, a few steps away from the magnificent cathedral and other points of interest. To be booked with eyes closed.
