This is a converted grand mansion. The night we went, we were convinced by the owner to upgrade our €99 room to their grand room for €139 as against the rate card price of €158. It was a mistake. Lets talk about the plus side - the room has air con. However, there are no wastepaper basket, no coffee or... More

A very welcoming boutique hotel with a friendly owner and nice designer touches across all the rooms. Nothing super fancy but just the right balance of charm and comfort, highly recommended. Lastly, even if it is outside of the old town, the location is very practical especially by car.

A lovely small boutique style hotel in an old house. Very stylish inside, top quality bed, shower, towels etc. Owners really helpful, told us areas with best restaurants. About 5 minute walk to main square and 10 to port area. Would stay again.

This was a lovely guest house though situated on a busy road which you do not see in the phot. There is private parking which is a plus as the surrounding streets are very full. The decor is nice but the room we had was very very small though equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly enough. We... More

We enjoyed a pleasant stay in this delightful boutique hotel, our room (211) was very modern, comfortable and completely quite. The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean; we found the owners to be most helpful & friendly. Breakfast was enjoyable & very adequate ~ served in a pleasant dining room. The hotel is located within an... More

Our room was very clean and modern. An excellent shower room and a comfy big bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel and although not the basic room it was quite small. Our host was most helpful and gave us instructions etc.Certainly a boutique hotel. Yes we would stay here again!

What a wonderful hotel - friendly welcome - Monsieur was so helpful showing us where to eat, go for a drink and the main attractions on La Rochelle. We had two Prestige rooms and they were beautiful - comfy beds, always cleaned perfectly, the wifi was good. The breakfast was delicious and good value, each day Madame had a special... More

Beautifully stylish minimalist hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast too. Short walk from the town centre, right next to the towns main parks, which in the middle of August, when the town is full of tourists, is a good thing.
