Great location a few minutes walk to the old port with its cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel is located in a prime area/street and was a little noisy at night even at the end of January, I would imagine this could be even more of a problem at the height of the season. The hotel is very quirky with its decor and its minimal furnishings which was ok for a city break but any longer with more luggage could prove problematic due to the lack of wardrobes and chest of drawers. Staff were friendly enough, we didn’t take breakfast there because of the amount of cafes around so can’t comment on it, but can thoroughly recommend the Italian restaurant opposite the front door. All in all a great place for a city break, would I use this hotel again, yes the location is great.
took our booking and our money and then three weeks later cancelled our booking. Now waiting for a refund. This is unacceptable, and should not be allowed to happen. I hope no one book here ever again
Good location, nice area, very close to old city and port. Beach just a 10 minutes walk. Rooms have a trendy design and are full with small funny details. Lot of stock solutions and sockets for charging.
We had a great stay at this hotel, it had great location in the middle of La Rochelle and close to the train station. The room and hotel standard is good, nothing special but had the things you needed. We had their breakfast and it was buffet type with quite many different selections. Staff was friendly and kind. They also gave earplugs as the soundproofing between the rooms isn’t the best. It was however good isolation from the street which had a rich restaurant life during the evenings.
Good value. Very reasonable rates. Very helpful, friendly staff. Recommended places to visit, where to eat etc. Great location. Very close to the Vieux Port, restaurants, museums etc. Easy access from train & bus station
