I can just recommend your stay in both Aix-en-Provence and the hotel Le Concorde. I had the most pleasant stay there in my France holiday. Room was big, clean and really pretty and light. We even had a balcony facing the countrysde and the backyard. The receptionists were all very helpful and friendly. Aix is a lovely place to stay!

Good location but rooms are very small with even smaller bathrooms . The location has a dated feel could do with a refurbishment.

We stayed for 6 nights in the biggest suite and it is like an apartment- beautiful. Totally up to date bathroom, big rooms, clean, huge deck and lovely roofline view, lots of privacy and storage--add a microwave and we'd stay a month! accomodated our child in bed in living room nicely, very clear and fair on billing, and special kudos...

Can't understand how this hotel got reasonable good grades on Booking.com. It was a real dissapointment, luckily we just stayed for one night, otherwise we had moved somewhere else. We stayed here the hottest time in August and the room was not equiped with either aircon or a small fan and the reception ignored us when we asked them to...

Room very tired looking and in desperate need of refurbishment. No aircon. Housekeeper removed property from room which I never recovered, aslo took away soap & shampoo on second day for reason I do not understand. Breakfast pathetic for €8.

I stayed for 8 days at this hotel and loved it. It is rated as a 2-star hotel, but I found it very comfortable. It has a few amenities - a small TV, WIFI access, and a refrigerator. I stayed in room 100. The room was very large, by European standards, had a good sized bathroom and was air-conditioned, which...

Learned this hotel from the Lonely Planet guidebook and did some research on Tripadvisor.com. At first, I did feel a bit uneasy as there's not much review on this hotel and the comments are mostly average. However, we did follow the advice from the LP guidebook to request for a room on upper floor with balcony facing the mountain. We...

The hotel was awful. The sheets were dirty, mine had dust stains and some red juice on them. The hotel was too close to the street, so the noise came in all night long and prevented sleep. One of the light switches was broken, as was the headboard on one of the beds. The room didn't have any toilet paper,...

A pleasant, cheap stay in Aix is definitely the Concorde. The location is a definite plus, only a few hundred yards from the main town centre and carparking included (for a small additional fee) if requested. You drive through the entrance and down into the park - be careful as it is a bit narrow and a little steep -...

Arrived in Aix by car without a reservation and went straight to Office de Tourisme where they offerred a reservations service (not all do). I selected two or three possibles and they booked my two night stay at the Concorde sight unseen (by me). The hotel had a selection of room types, I was offered and accepted a double, let...
