La Madison D'Aix offers a unique high end experience. The staff, rooms and facilities were all first class. A magnificent blend of old world grace and modern convenience. Maxim took special care of us.

This very special hotel has only four rooms total and is located on a side street near the main street of old Aix-en Provence. The hotel has been eclectically decorated and has a wonderful vibe of new and old. The service was friendly and professional. Thierry and Maxime were great hosts with a lot of great advice. The room I...

My husband booked a 3 days stay at La maison d'Aix for our honeymoon. We loved it. We loved the way we were welcomed by Thierry, like nowhere else, at least not in a regular hotel. We loved our room which was pretty big with beautiful furniture.Wifi was excellent for working (yes my husband worked :-) We loved the spa...

I had two glorious nights at La Maison d'Aix and I will try to write a "family friendly" review. It is a small intimate former home of a legendary beauty -- Henrietta -- that has been transformed into a hip hotel. Our bedroom faced the interior with a view of neighbor's yards with a tree in bloom. The bedroom was...

We stayed at The Maison d'Aix in April. It was very convenient located in the city center and very easy to explore whole Provence. Small and peaceful. Maxime was perfect and we also enjoyed fun conversation with owner's mom who knows everything about Aix. Everybody was so helpful, genuine and knowledge. We had a very good surprise of being upgraded. Our...

We couldn't find a better place to stay for our Honeymoon. Location is excellent. The hotel building has been renovated to a stunning little hotel. Service was incredible. Maxime and Tiery were the most helpful persons we met, helping in all reservations and organization of our whole trip. Our bedroom was beautiful, the bed incredibly comfortable. We highly appreciated the...

We spent 4 nights @ the beautifully restored La Maison d'Aix, a gorgeous brownstone conveniently located on a quiet street in the center of the city. Thierry who manages this boutique hotel is a wonderful tour/travel adviser (he provided us w/ great restaurant recommendations, sightseeing tips and a unique hiking excursion). Plus, each morning we were treated to a delicious...

Our family of four recently stayed at La Maison d'Aix. It was perfect! It felt like an island of calm and beauty upon our arrival - especially given our fatigue after more than 24 hours of travel to reach Aix. The hotel (intimate hotel - more like an elegant B & B) is in a respectully remodeled centurias old townhouse...
