Beautiful setting a brief walk (or taxi) from central Aix. Our room (deluxe) was small and very crowded with furniture, but with a large comfortable bath one floor up and outdoor patio. Public pool and terrace areas are lovely. Suggest you do your own research on dining options, since the hotel's recommendations are hit-or-miss.

One could not have a more beautiful building, location and environment. However, we stayed in the largest suite with the balcony for 5 days which was gorgeous. The disappointment was that it seemed like it had not been tended to, or was not used to being serviced at all. It was clean but housekeeping missed so many things like, not...

We spent the most lovely three nights at this gorgeous resort just a short walk from the center of Aix en-Provence. The room was filled with sumptuous fabrics and smelled of lavender. It was so relaxing and peaceful and the staff was amazing. It was out favorite hotel out of four that we stayed in while traveling through France. They...

A highly rated hotel that failed to deliver. We had the one "suite" in the hotel which was really one room with a curtail separating it. The decor is tired and old fashioned in a not particularly charming way. The fabrics are dated and tired. Things like towels are old and need replacement. The service was poor starting with the...

On Arrival you feel excited when greeted warmly. Our room beautifully done with gorgeous fabrics, antiques & amenities . Couldn't get enough of lovely smelling bath gel & body cream. After arriving from a long trip, we decided to have lunch. Sat outside in tranquil patio & overlooking statues, flowers, pool & gorgeous trees. My Salad Nicoise was one of...

Our room overlooked the garden which was filled with beautiful foilage and flowers including contemporary sculptural art. The outside dining was under two beautiful old plane trees which was quite romantic and delightful. Our room was large with antiques. The sitting areas had an interesting decor. The breakfast was great with beautiful roses displayed in the water fountain. There is...

From the moment you drive through the private gate, you know you are in a special place. A beautiful property with exquisite furnishings and set up. Attentive staff, wonderful service and 5 star dining. You feel like you are staying in someones's Magnificat secluded estate, yet walking distance everywhere.

Lovely chateau close to the centre of Aix, cute pool area and terrace and charming service. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. However the rooms are very chintzy, almost to the point of feeling a little spooky, and quite small. The gardens are not very extensive and disappointingly there was building work going on next door, so not quite the idyllic...

The hotel itself is a delight: hidden away just north of the old town, in a lovely quiet garden, with an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, perfect for lunch or evening dining, sheltered by plane trees. (Ignore the reviewers who complain about distance from town! You can be at the Town Hall in less than 15 minutes on foot). The...
