We had a very good stay for 2 days in Aix as a couple. Perfect location in the hart of the old city. The superior room was all new and confortable. Triple windows protected from potential noise from people walking in the street

We booked this hotel mainly because of the location right in the centre of Aix-en-Provence. We were lucky to have a Prestige room overlooking Cours Mirabeau. The room was great, bigger than we thought and very clean and modern with a large bathroom, big shower, large basin with two taps. The pictures on the website are exactly as the room...

My wife and I stayed here in September and loved it. We had a very nice light and spacious room overlooking the Cours Mirabeau which was great for watching the world go by outside. There was some renovation work going on at the time, but we didn't find it intrusive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and sorted out access...

In the center of the city - friendly staff who smile!! Breakfast is self-service and freshly prepared. Very useful for the business visitor however the lack of a resident lounge is a concern. Lunch and dinner is available from the many local restaurants.

Car access... a mess. Cours Mirabeau closed.... a gymkana to get to the parking. The hotel: a construction site. The room OK but noisy: street - construction and cleaning early in the morning. The Iconic Negre Coste is not one of my icon anymore.

I had stayed here in years past and loved it for it's old charm and location smack dab in the middle of the Cours Mirabeau. The beautiful old tiled floors, wide staircase and wrought iron railings were part of the charm, as were the dark beams, tapestries, and woodwork. Most of this is now gone in what seems like an...

Although we found this hotel in the middle of major renovation it was still a great place to stay. Our room, on the first floor, wasn't huge but the best possible use had been made of the available space. The bed was large snd very comfortable and there was a lovely, clean and modern bathroom. The decor is light, modern...

This hotel, open but not yet fully renovated is already a great place to stay. The attention to detail is impressive. Finally, a hotel with proper lighting, so that you're blundering about in the dark even at mid-day, and a truly impressive design of both the room and bathroom made a short stay memorable. The whole refit has been dove...

Old hotel with extensive but unobtrusive work going on. The refurbed room I had was an absolute bargain with breakfast included it was around £113. Although small the quality was obvious. For people arriving by car there are normally police stopping access onto the Cours Mirabeau. Explain your'e staying at the hotel and they will let you through. You can...
