Our stay at La Romarine was so special and memorable that it is hard to know where to begin. It has taken over a month to find the words to describe Jacqueline and Robert, who are amazing, intelligent, and endearing hosts. The two elegant suites (with luxurious bathrooms) are attached to their home, but very private. The breakfast is beautiful,...

I am writing this review some time after staying but I really wanted to just say how much we enjoyed our stay with Jacqueline and Robert who made us feel so welcome! Myself & my husband only stayed the one night, the bedroom was very relaxing & comfortable and tastefully furnished. The location is perfect for exploring Aix and we...

We chose La Romarine to stay for four nights as we wanted somewhere out of town where we could relax in peaceful surroundings. We generally take comments on Trip Advisor with a pinch of sceptism but, in this case, we fully endorse everything that the other reviewers have made. Jacqueline and Robert are really the host with the most (yes,...

My husband & I stayed 3 nights with Robert & Jacqueline. They are very kind & welcoming with lots of local knowledge on markets, arts, where to eat & drink etc & also where to walk if you want to get out & hike. We feasted on Jacqueline's delicious fresh breakfasts each morning & really didn't need anything else until...

We stayed with Robert and Jacqueline for four nights in mid April and had a wonderful time. As first time expectant parents, we were looking for a warm and relaxing week away from London before the final months of baby preparation kicked in and this is exactly what we got in Aix and from La Romarine. Robert picked us up...

My wife and I recently traveled to Provence and spent our first to nights in Aix-en-Provence. I always refer to Tripadvisor when making reservations for lodging. This time instead of taking one of the hotels or B&Bs at the top of the ratings, I decided to look down on the list for lodging with very few but favorable ratings. I...

Make sure to stay at this well appointed, beautiful home perched on a hillside featuring magnificent views of the Mont St. Victoire and the city of Aix-en-Provence.
