My husband and I stayed here for two nights and really couldn't be happier with our choice. The décor is modern and chic, very clean, lots of space and feels like home. We took advantage of the kitchen one night - Went to the local markets for food (per Veronique's suggestion) to pick up ingredients and enjoyed cooking, eating and... More

The apartment is located in an interesting old converted 18th century house. We stayed in Apartment 2 on level 2. It was very spacious and light and well fitted out with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you need especially a washing machine. We noticed minor cleaning lapses especially the stove and dish washer - from previous guests, we assume.... More

This one is a real surprise. Veronique, the owner, is one of the great hostesses I have ever encountered. She is knowledgeable, helpful, nice and beautiful. She also has a handsome hound who is also extremely welcoming. The accomadations are actually an apartment. You could move in and call this place home. The apartment has everything, including a washing machine... More

I highly recommend visiting Aix en Provence, and staying at Maison Dauphine. Véronique, is the proprietor of this lovely Maison, that has been converted into an art gallery on the street level, and three apartments on each level above the gallery. We stayed in the upper apartment for five nights. Our apartment had a separate bedroom, large living room/dining area... More

Small hotel with 3 apartment-style accommodations in lovely, convenient and quiet neighborhood. We had top floor which offered a nice view overlooking the street and other buildings but the windows are considerably smaller than on lower floors. Veronique is the owner of hotel and a small art gallery on ground floor. She was extremely helpful and considerate. There is no... More

We have just enjoyed 2 superb nights at Maison Dauphine and in Aix. If you are feeling lazy then read no more and just book it, you will have no regrets! The apartment ( we had the one bedroom) was just as described. Large living room with a kitchen, in a beautiful room with high ceilings and amazing large windows,... More

We were very happy with our stay. Veronique is a helpful, kind, gracious and patient hostess. She waited for us, even though we were late. She made suggestions about museums, dining, and even whether to visit other cities. Her suggestions changed our original plan in a very good way. We had planned to drive to a couple of other cities,... More

Will not rehash the other reviews about charming location. The place is indeed great but the location would be diminished without the great customer orientation from the proprietor. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The house is just at the right place, in the city center, just a few steps from the walking street. The House has a real french atmosphere. It is stylish and elegant and large. Perfectly furnished. The bedroom is looking for the backyard, so it is silently.

We selected Maison Dauphine as our accommodations for the second portion of our stay in Provence. It is a wonderful apartment, very generous in size and full of local charm with shuttered windows and and olive tree just outside our bedroom window. Our hostess, Veronique, who has an art gallery on the first floor, arranged for parking for us in... More
