We had found that B&B already 2018 in the internet (very appealing homepage indeed !) and spent our easter holidays there. Left that wonderful place with total conviction to come back one day. The come back was sooner than expected: we spent there two more weeks in July 2019. With only three rooms, it is a place with a lot of privacy. Jean-François and Anne are MOST friendly hosts. Every morning breakfeast is a surprise: delicious homemade extras in addition to delicious french croissants and baguette with delicious homemade jams, served outside under the shady roof of one of the wings of the old mill. The rooms with air condition (what a relief that summer) are most cosy, the one for the three kids very appropriate with an extra bed at the mezzanine. Worth mentioning are the extra nice bathrooms ! Most appreciated the fridge for the guests - eating own food at the breakfast table is possible any time and our hosts took care about the dishes - thank you so much for that extra service !! The pool wasn't open the first stay ( because it was too early in the year), we enjoyed swimming even more that summer, even at night with under water lighting. Good fun not only for the kids! The location is close enough for a walk to down-town Aix (c.20 minutes) but there are busses running as well. It's a shame that wonderful place is so far away from Vienna. Merci Jean-François et Anne pour ces superbes vacances et pour votre hospitalité grandiose ! Ce n'est pas possible à revenir sans quitter ! Barbara & Jürgen, Jan, Marie & Lisa de Vienne.

Walking distance form the city center, this recently refurbished water mill is ideal place to stay or to visit Aix en Provence. Once you pass the garden's gate, you'll feel immediately why: A dompted vegetation, with traditional local trees . We definitely appreciated the shape of a "Platane" (PLane Tree) in front of the house. If you come in summer, or even late spring, you will enjoy the sheltering of the large barn opened on the peaceful garden. We stayed in the Satu room, and we absolutely loved it. Great tuned of colors, open showeroom, platform on part of the bedroom, plenty of perspectives, all is peaceful. Congrats to the architects! And now the cherry on top of the cake: The breakfeast ! Can't be better, choice of local organic juices. Home made jam, from garden trees/fruits, or from selected local suppliers. Great breads, great patisserie + home made dish : Day 1 : Apple + Pear Crumble (Perfect) Day 2 : fondant au chocolat + Pear (Exceptionnal). Hosts whom tuned all of this offer are are absolutely delightfull.

A wonderful place, quiet, with a beautiful garden and a touch of provençale countryside feeling. Everything here is decorated so tastefully and with attention to detail. Our favorite part was having breakfast on the beautiful outside patio... it was delicious, homemade with little variations each day. We also enjoyed being able to bring food from the local shops and eat on the patio. It‘s a great base to explore Provence and still close to Aix town center (20min walk). The hosts were very friendly and always open for recommendations or to having a little chat. Small suggestions: a coffee option other than nespresso capsules, and taking credit card. We loved our stay, merci Jean-François et Anne!

Jean-François and Anna were excellent hosts. My wife and I stayed at the end of August with our 4 year old son Lucas. We met other wonderful guests from Belgium and enjoyed delicious homemade breakfasts. Anna utilizes fruits, herbs, and vegetables from her garden. Jean-François and Anna were very accommodating and even made Lucas hot chocolate. The room was spacious and cool at night with the windows open. The grounds and pool are magnificent. We walked to town daily (approximately 15 minutes). We did have to strategize a bit as there is a request for no food in the rooms, and it would have been helpful to have access to a larger refrigerator. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit. As we prepared to depart, Jean-François helped facilitate getting a taxi. Such a wonderful experience. Merci Beaucoup!
