We had an unforgettable stay at this hotel. As soon as we arrived, the welcome was warm and professional, which immediately put us at ease. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Special mention for the bed, incredibly comfortable!
Breakfast was a real treat: a wide choice of fresh and tasty products to start the day off right. We also appreciated the small touches, such as advice for local activities and availability of staff at all times.
The hotel’s location is ideal, close to the main points of interest, while offering absolute tranquility to rest after a busy day.

Be careful - avoid. NOISE from the road. The hotel overlooks the Aix ring road. the rooms overlooking the ring road are very poorly soundproofed. you are on the road with cars...It's impossible

Upon check in I provided my Credit Card to the reception to hold a €100 deposit in case I smoked in the room and for any extras. The booking was done by my Travel Management Company and Full Bill back was to go to the Agency as per the voucher.
The day before checkout I noticed another €530 placed against my credit card from the hotel. At checkout the next day, they advised me they were having some issues with the Travel Agencies card and thats why they held it against mine. They said they would “reverse” the two authorisations blocked on my card, but first I needed to settle the full amount. I did this reluctantly, as I had a taxi waiting and needed to get to the airport. 2 weeks later and they still have not reversed the amounts, effectively charging me twice on what should have been a Full Bill back to my agency. No apologies, no explanations, no acknowledgemnts of my complaints. Will never stay at another one of these hotels again!

Dear Sir Chivell, We thank you for choosing the Golden Tulip for your stay in Provence, and the time you took to let us a feedback. However, we are sorry, you had the feeling we betrayed the trust you had put in us, and that you keep until now a bad memory of the Hotel. We regret that the company did not inform you that even if the different charge will be pay by them, we still do a guaranty because it is forbidden to smoke inside the hotel. As we inform you since the payment information given by the company did not work, in case the company do not give use back valid payment information we will be oblige to ask you to make the payment. Since at the time of the departure we still did not have valid payment information we checked with you and you agreed to pay directly and will ask the company to refund you with the invoice given. Concerning the preauthorization we did, if you had tried to reach the front office team, they would have informed you that each preauthorization was released on the day of the departure and even send you the proof by email if needed. They also would have explained that since you have a foreign bank account it some time take a bit longer for banks to relay information and release completely the amount. In this case you just needed to check with your bank and wait. Moreover, your company contact us some weeks ago to give us a credit card to debit and refund you, thing we did. - restaurant: how to say...? When you write that everything is homemade and your dish of the day on a Monday evening is poison... well no I don't believe it. When the price ribs are still with ice crystals in the middle… well no it’s not homemade. So in fact it is misleading and therefore disappointing.
- breakfast: you have to understand how it is organized because there are small islands which are not necessarily obvious but the products are good and it is plentiful.

I just don’t know how to say, but let me put it this way; the hotel is just simply great with a very good quality and reasonable price.
The room size is really good with a big and comfortable bed. It’s has a boiler pot for making coffee and tea, flat screen tv, free drinking water which is a nice touch.
Free parking lot is also available which is really hard to find in France this day. The hotel staff is nice and friendly. Only one thing to recommend is about the breakfast, they should have more food to choose from, other than that is fine.
