Stayed for 3 nights whilst exploring Aix and the locality. Easily the best accommodation and hosts we've ever experienced. Really didn't want to leave. Must return. The very sociable 'happy hour' was a highlight, along with the wonderful gardens and pool.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to travel to France this summer and stayed at Pavillon de la Torse at the end of our 3 week vacation. It was a wonderful way to finish our holiday and would highly recommend this beautiful B & B to our friends and family. The rooms were very spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated....

Possibly the best place we've ever stayed -- Europe or anywhere. It felt as if we were guests at a fabulously wealthy friend's home. The accommodations were first class and beautifully designed, the spectacular grounds were only matched by the graciousness of the hosts/owners Marie and Francois. Everything you could hope for and more including free telephone, internet, swimming pool...

You immediately know you are someplace special, as you come upon the front gate and make your way through the 200 year old Plane trees that lead you to the front courtyard, garden and pool area, with its fountains and old world ambiance. what you don't know as you stand admiring this charming 18th century Bastide that is a B&B...

We chose this based on the tripadvisor recommendations. We found all the glowingly positive comments to be right on. Francois and Marie are the most gracious hosts imaginable, the beautiful villa is within walking distance to downtown Provence yet is quiet and peaceful, it is a quick drive to the major highways, etc. It is worth the trip to Southern...

This is an absolutely wonderful bed & breakfast. The garden is lovely. The rooms are pleasant and large. But the best part is your hosts Marie and Francoise. They are helpful and friendly from the moment they greet you. A highpoint is the 6:30 cocktail hour. Everyone enjoys telling their adventures of the day and getting Francoise's advise for the...

There are simply not enough superlatives in the English language to properly describe La Torse, but I will try. It is as close to perfection as holiday accomodation could be. It is (almost) worth a trip to Provence just to stay there. My wife and I stayed at La Torse for 5 days at the end of May, 2007, and...

We stayed at The Pavillion de la Torse for part of our honeymoon at the end of June 2007 for one week. We were a little nervous to stay in a Bed and Breakfast because we had never stayed in one before however, as soon as we arrived - all our fears disappeared! The house itself is beautiful and large...

Pavillon de la Torse really is a charming and delightful place to stay. It is set at the end of a long private drive in a secluded and tranquil spot within beautifully kept parkland and gardens. Within the gardens are a pool and gazebo with guest sun loungers, shaded table area and a refrigerator for the use of guests. Our...

Your first impression is simply, "Wow!". As you enter the estate through the gate, a long tree-lined driveway leads up to an incredible 17th Century facade, magnificantly restored. The best is yet to come! \ Francois is out, walking toward your car, welcoming you. He introduces you to his beautiful wife, Mary, and they inform you that happy hour is...
