This is the place to be in Arles ! Wonderful location and really nice staff. We arrived in Arles without any reservations .... bad idea in august .... We went to Hotel Amphitheater first to check out the place and the guys there being already full didn't even bother giving us any information . Walking to the arena we went...

I appreciated the French country style of this hotel. Everything worked as it should i.e. air conditioning, electrical sockets, toilet, faucets in bathroom, etc. The property is well kept including the landscaping...lovely garden to enjoy beverages and a bite to eat.

My wife and I stayed at Le Calendal twice for a total of 4 nights in June just before the high season. The rooms were clean, airy, well decorated and of good size. The bathrooms, as far as bathrooms go, were comfortable with all amenities i.e. quality soaps, lotions etc. from the spa. The hotel was located a minute away...

I stay at the Hotel Calendal every time I go to Arles. It's centrally located for Roman stuff -- between the theater and the arena -- and only a very short walk from the old center of town with the cathedral etc. I have never had a bad meal in the restaurant, the service can't be faulted (except maybe a...

Le Calendal is as central to Arles as you can get - right next to the Amphitheater, and a short walk from the Place du Forum. At check-in, the staff were very friendly, and gave excellent driving directions to and from the parking lot. If you have a car, I would recommend using the parking pass recommended by the hotel...

My wife and I (who are both 30 and normally very relaxed travellers) stayed here for two nights and absolutely fell in love with Arles. The hotel and the staff are wonderful but unfortunately we stayed here when the amphitheater across the street held summer outdoor concerts. The music is incredibly loud and filled our room until midnight on both...

Our room was large and clean, overlooking the garden. We had a flat screen TV, clock radio, airconditioning and free wifi. There were 4 computers downstairs and a printer. We had a very comfy queen bed. This room had enough storage to fully unpack the suitcases. Our room also had what looked like another bed that we used as a...

Hotel Calendal is a nice, informal (not fancy) place, in a good location. The lobby is bright and airy with a small sidewalk cafe and a very nice interior courtyard. The hotel has a restaurant (separate from the cafe) that serves a nice Provencal lunch in the courtyard attracts locals. The staff was polite and helpful (people at the desk...

A quick visit to Arles...a wonderful place to follow Van Gogh's footsteps. Hotel service was great assisting happily when required. Reception gave us a local restaurant suggestion list (a great help) & pointed out free parking spaces right around corner from property. Our room was very small, but clean, neat & tidy...ample for our one night stay. The hotels outdoor...
