We use Rick Steves guides and this hotel is listed in his Provence book so we knew it would be good. We are absolutely in agreement with our travel oracle, Rick S. Very clean, pleasant and enough room and storage for two ever so slightly above- average-size Americans! Our host, Eric was helpful and charming. We found the breakfast was...

We stayed 3 nights and our room looked out on the river. We enjoyed sunsets along the Rhone! Arles is a great walking city and just out the door of this hotel is the wide wonderful walk along the river to the city. Our hosts Eric and Valerie were very kind and helpful. They spoke English and were of great...

We loved our room and being in a hotel so close to the Rhone river. When you stand at the water's edge just outside the hotel we swear it's the view Vincent Van Gogh had when he painted his infamous Starry Night Over the Rhone. We stayed three nights so we could use Arles as a home base to explore...

The location of the hotel was perfect if you are arriving by train and taking a river cruise. We flew in to Marseille and took the RER train to Arles. It was a short walk, maybe 10 minutes with our rolling luggage to the hotel. While our room (#19) had a beautiful view of the sunset on the Rhone River,...

We had to find a new hotel, reservation was denied at other hotel. They gave us a nice room facing the Rhone, right on the perimeter promenade. About 2 minutes away from where Vn Gogh painted Starry Night over the Rhone. Nice location, very helpful owners, alway available and friendly.

We picked this hotel because of Rick Steves and it was exactly what I wanted. The location is great, just inside the walls in Arles, the hotel is super clean, the hosts are warm and helpful and the price is reasonable. The breakfast is everything you could hope for and included hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, various cereals and breads...

The hotel Le Regence is located at a wonderful place along the Rhône river. Unfortunately the view from my room was blocked by one of the ancient city walls Arles is famous for. The room was comfortabel, clean, and had a good air conditioning system. Although my room was on the street side, there was hardly any noise from the...

We stayed at the Le Regence for a couple of nights in June. Everyone was super helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect. While it wasn't right in the middle of town, this was the perfect location. A stone's throw from the river (great for evening walks), and away from the super touristy parts of town....

I have been here for two weeks for a business trip and it was the best hotel so far. Extremely clean and the guys at the reception are so nice! It feels almost like home! Moreover it is in front of the river, good for a run in the evening! I will come back if I need to stay again...

The most important review of this hotel is it's location to the rail station as well as the port of departure for a river boat cruise on the Rhone River. The hotel rooms are small however, the location, cost, cleanliness are second to none. Highly recommend a stay.
