Our second visit to Hotel Regence in May 2009 was was even better than the first several years before. Among the changes we noted were newly tiled bathrooms (beautifully done!), wifi in the rooms and a computer in the lobby. On a table in the dining room there’s even a selection of guidebooks you can consult while munching on your...

The owner of this hotel treated us incredibly well. We had a family emergency while there and only stayed one night out of the three we had booked. He was understanding and did not charge us for those two nights. This was very generous (and helpful in light of the fact that we spent an extra $900 returning to the...

We spent 8 days in Arles last fall (Oct.-Nov. 2008). It was a wonderful vacation. We stayed at Hotel Regence, 5 rue Marius Jouveau, 13200 Arles. It is a smallish family-run hotel that serves a decent breakfast with very good coffee. We had had a terrible time on a river cruise in Paris - everyone was sick! We were exhausted...

We arrived for 2 nights and stayed for 4. Decent room with a view of the Rhone, spotless and good breakfasts. Staff were brilliant and couldn't have tried harder to be helpful. Hotel has bike hire on the premises.

I thought the room was pretty and had a lovely headboard to the bed. It was a little small, but given the price I thought it was an extremely good value. The breakfast was 6 euros and fine, but nothing great. Wifi is 2 euros extra. I had a room facing a side street which was a little noisy. The...

We stayed at Le Régence June 3 through June 10 2009. Le Regence is a small family operated hotel on the banks of the Rhone surrounded by plenty of free parking. Our room was clean, quiet and overlooked the river. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the sites in Arles. Nimes, Avignon, Uzes, Pont-du-Gard and the villages and towns...

We traveled to France this summer with our two sons, age 17 and 20, and spent 9 days at the Hotel Regence. We recommend the Hotel Regence to anyone who wants a comfortable, clean and friendly place. I speak almost no French. and our sons have taken German and Spanish, however this was no barrier as Eric speaks fine English....

Booked this hotel for one night based upon the favorable reviews on Tripadvisor. Hotel was clean and comfortable. My only criticisms would be the tiny rooms, and the location, which wasn't as central as I had hoped. Arles is not a big town, so walking into the center was easy.

The Hotel Regence in Arles was VERY convenient for the town as well as the area. We had two rooms—both were clean and neat., but not very big. The Hotel was easy to find, had parking, and was not too far from the major roads for side trips. We were able to view the major sites in Arles as they...
