First, the good things: 1) The staff were very friendly and helpful, except for one person I'll get to later. 2) The location is very good—quaint area close to the Palais du Papes and around the corner from some coffee shops. 3) If you get a courtyard room, there won't be any street noise. Now for the bad things. I... More

Quaint, charming and atmospheric. Friendly & helpful staff . (English speaking). Very conveniently located, in the centre of Avignon. Clean rooms perhaps the bathroom floor is a little tired but we would definitely stay hear again. Small but adequate shower. Very good value for money!

Good value, great location. Adequate room size and clean. £60 per night in September 2016. Friendly staff. In the town centre 5 min walk to the Palace. Beautiful old stone building- charming. Perfect for 1 night stop.

We traveled to Avignon right at the end of the theater festival and things were CRAZY CROWDED. On an extended trip, my husband and I couldn't afford to stay here for longer than our one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer. A perfect location, lovely room--the AC was a little weird--it kept shutting off after a few... More

Dear Madam, Thank you for devoting a few moments to send us your opinion on your stay in our hotel. We read with pleasure that you had a pleasant stay. All the hotel staff speak English, so it is the director who made your chek-in, (he is at the reception in the morning), he certainly wanted to encourage your husband... More

We were so happy to stay in this hotel during our 3 nights in Avignon. We arrived on the last Saturday of the festival, which was a bit of a hassle, as we could not enter the city by car. We then parked at Parking Gare d'Avignon, just outside the walls, and walked to the hotel in about 15 minutes.... More

We spent a whole week here and were glad we did, mainly because after days out walking in the sun we came back to an air-conditioned room.We had a superior room with an attached bathroom (shower over the bath) and a tiny kitchenette, with a fridge, which was great for storing water, wine, and milk for our all-important tea! We... More

Very simple, clean hotel in a great location - right in the Old Town! If driving a bigger car, be careful on the street of the hotel as it is quite narrow. Parking nearby. Steps to plenty of outdoor restaurants and lovely local wines. Nice staff and plenty for breakfast. Would visit again!

Evocative, truly medieval setting in tiny stone-paved street, setting the tone for our visit to Avignon. Very helpful staff provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Small room, but very comfortable & in any case we were out wandering the cafes, squares, and sights most of the time.

Spent 2-3 days in Avignon. Hotel wasn't cheap may be because of the season (summer). Do not expect too much: slow Internet, typical rooms, 🛀 bathroom and breakfast. Advantage is location - exactly the centre of the city, so you have variety of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Helpful staff, great value rooms in an impressive old building, and all within 2 minutes of the Palais des Papes. Useful to be able to leave luggage after checkout - no consigned at the rail or bus stations! Try the good collection of restaurants in the two squares on the way to the Palais.
