Really good spot right on the river, very tired and unloved ! Some works being carried out while we were there but not sure if he builder was doing what was necessary ! Quite expensive for the state of the facilities but I suppose you are paying for being near to Avignon

We just returned from 3 weeks in a motorhome and initially wanted to stay 2 nights in Avignon, However this camp location is just minutes to walk into Avignon. The facilities are a bit dated but the water for showers and dishes cleanup was very hot. Internet wifi is slow. Best to stay campsite 7 or 8 near showers as...

We stayed here in the last week of October in motorhome. Apart from the obvious benefit of its location being only 15 minutes walk from Avignon and 30 minutes walk from Villeneuve. The Bagatelle served our needs admirably. The facilities, although used and tired, are clean and looked after. Always hot water in showers and wash hand basins and washing...

What I did appreciate : Free WiFi, and an inexpensive restaurant. What I did not apprec iate : Hard ground (for to setup a tent) with almost no grass. Not possible to choose the camping ground by Your own - though many places were available because end of the holiday season (the lights near my tent were during all the...

We stayed in this camping for three nights. Pitches are very spacious and the whole camping is provided with shadow by big trees. Pitches are not really divided so you basically share the space and can easily see what other people do in their pitches. The ground is very hard and full of stones. The location is very convenient, just...

This place has a good location, main attractions need only 15-20 minutes walking. As the greenery is changed to yellow tent has to be put on the hardened sand. Sanitary rooms are not the youngest. I really don't understand why toilets don't have toilet seats. Anyway, I would visit it again. Probably with the show moment of carrying the toilet...

Was there with a friend of mine for two nights. The camping is about at 30 minutes walking from the train station, and really close to the main sites of the city (the palace of popes, the bridge,...). The location is very nice, a small island with a lot of trees around, a very quiet place. The room was clean...

The security didn't let us in to the camping after a night stroll in the old town. They were the most rude people I have ever met in any hotel, hostel, or camping world-wide. We had to stay outside with no warm clothes (!) This is the closest camping to the old town, but I recommend going having a 10min...

Well first the location is great for Avignon. That is where the only good points stop. I am planning a book to help fellows travellers cross check against the worst of Europe - After 18 site camping bagatelle is definitely top so far. The shower block was a disgrace - broken shower heads, lack of working showers, shower cubicles which...

This site is brilliantly located for visiting Avignon, just a walk across the bridge. The famous "Pont d'Avignon is just a short way away, all of Avignon' s other attractions are close by. The site itself if we'll shaded by tall trees, as any caravans/motorhomes knows trees are both a blessing and a curse, great for shade when hot but...
