We have just returned from a week's B&B here -- our first visit to Avignon and its surroundings -- and we couldn't have made a better choice. The house is delightful, with its 'sun-trap' Middle-Eastern-inspired patio and garden, a lovely sitting area inside, and a comfortable, interesting bedroom. It's up a narrow ancient street just a few yards from the...

Aida Aideed is the most delightful host -- warm, and very accommodating. We felt as if we were staying with an old and dear friend. The B&B is lovely, very tastefully furnished, very clean. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard. Bed and shower were both very good. Aida's breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruit, croissants, warm bread, terrific jellies. Aida can...

We are a family of 4 and are very glad to have booked the apartment on first floor. Aida is very kind and knowledgeable. She gave us good advices and useful tips every morning. Needless to say, her house is well equipped and clean. It is also conveniently located within a short 10 mins walk to the Pope Palace. The...

This delightful B&B is the perfect base to explore Avignon and wonderful Provence. One immediately feels at home and the selection of fruit, croissants, cheese, cereal and yogurt at breakfast time, not to mention the excellent coffee, set us up for the day. Aida is a gracious host who can recommend places off the beaten track and good local restaurants....

This is our second visit, family of three. We have greatly enjoyed both times. We had the 2 bedroom flat which is fantastic, well furnished, including its kitchen which is fully equipped down to the smaller utensils. The flat is fully self contained but also enjoys access to the garden and most of the house. There is fast internet, a...

The house was a beautiful big B&B, very spacious and so much character, especially the gardens in the courtyard! Aida was such a good host helping us with the Avignon festival (as we did not speak French), and the breakfast each morning was a great start to the day with lots of fruit, bread, cheese and coffee, and good company...

I spent six nights here. There is an extraordinary garden and delightful sitting rooms. The bedroom was lovely with a splendid walk-in and sit down shower. Best of all is the owner, Aida who takes care of her guests as if they were family. She even made me dinner one night. The best B&B I have ever stayed in.

This review is dated as of June 2016...and you should believe everything that was written about this B&B as of that date here on Tripadvisor. It's all true. I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy...because why do a huge favor to someone I dislike? My best friend, now, that's a different matter. The only reasons I can think...

Clos du rampart is situated on the edge of the walled city. For some it may not be the most exciting part of town, but behind the front door is a warm welcome and a fantastic host. There is a beautiful walled garden and a delightful lounge. A tranquil haven and yet close to many excellent restaurants. Our host Aida...

We stayed at le clos de rempart during May 2016. It is a lovely place to stay and Aida was very helpful and accommodating when we were there. The room was lovely, clean and spacious and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, yoghurts and croissants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
