We stayed 3 nights, and loved it. Our host, M.Patrice was very courteous and helpful, fluent in English and knowledgeable from his 12 years in Avignon. Hotel is lavishly decorated with an eclectic mix of posters, artwork and thoroughly modernized and clean inside. Our room was comfortable and bright, good bathroom and facilities (including a safe) plenty of drawers and...

Pardon my lateness in posting this but in going through our pictures has reminded me of what a great stay we had at this hotel. We stayed there in May of last year ( 2016) and we were a group of three couples. As we are all over 60, Patrice, the host, put us all on the first floor (...

We arrived in Avignon by train and we could easily walk to the hotel from the train station but there are two train stations in Avignon! Very clean rooms and the eating area was beautiful. The owner was very helpful and answered all of our questions about where to go and what to see. Most all of the sights in...

Rick Steves recommended it, so do I! Great location, a short walk from the train station. My room was clean and quiet. Patrice was a great host, I felt like a king when he served breakfast in the courtyard. I enjoyed staying in a non-chain hotel with character, which is exactly what I wanted, was traveling solo for one night...

We came in on the train (city train station) and it is walkable to the hotel. Charming hotel that also has the cutest little dog. The hotel was excellent for a 2-star hotel: clean, safe, quiet, and great service. The dining room is beautifully decorated and I would recommend the breakfast. Two of the breads served for breakfast were homemade...

Location excellent can easily walk from train station & easy walking all around Avignon to see all the sights Breakfast is good, typical continental however the owners wife adds a homemade touch with fresh rolls. No elevator so first floor rooms are great. Take mosquito repellent for the area.

Very nice room. Excellent home made breakfast on Provencal style patio. Patrice is a very helpful "mine host" with a list of recommended restaurants nearby, which worked very well, and generally full of advice and flexible. Perfect medium price hotel in the old town near to Palais des Papes and the famous "Pont".

A lovely quirky hotel. all rooms are differently decorated with lots of unusual art. Patrice and his wife, the owners, were very helpful. The only downside is that the hotel has no lift and we were on the third floor, (60 stairs). The breakfasts were lovely, and whilst the breakfast room is beautiful we took the opportunity to have breakfast...

We stayed two nights and were very pleased. The owner was extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins and smoothies. The courtyard where breakfast was served was lovely. The room was simple but had everything we needed including a modern bathroom and wifi. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Palace of the Popes but...

We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. The Hotel is located in a side street within a five minute walk of the Avignon old station. The TGV station is just a five minute shuttle train ride away from the old station. The host Patrice was as ever very helpful and provided a varied breakfast taken in the...
