Cap D'Antibes Beach Hotel is a great contrast to the stuffy formality of the other 5 star hotels in the Riveria that, for me, are more pomp than circumstance. This hotel is the real deal, especially for those that are on the Riveria to enjoy the sea, the beach, and easy access to Antibes, Nice, St. Paul de Vence. We spent a day in total retreat mode, never leaving the property. And you feel like there is nowhere else in the world. Massages in the outdoor 'cabin' are consistently good. And the beach is a rarity in the area- soft sand, protected swimming, privacy between the beach chairs, and an amazing beach service team led by Ludovic. They don't pander to you (so if you need to be fussed over to feel important - go to Eden Roc) - rather they give great service when you request and always check in to see if you need anything. For lovers of modernist design, the architecture and interior design choices are stunning. An array of textures, colors inspired by Palm Springs and the Medditerranean. The details, from the round wood door stops to the hones pink marble and stone floors that bring outside in are impeccable. Some reviews have complained about the exterior black out shade noise. First, having that was a dream. Or I should say, facilitated my dreams. It brought complete darkness for a deep sleep. Second, the noise from adjacent rooms raising and lowering was only noticable if I was already awake and sitting in total silence. And those who criticized for lack of coffee and tea in the room, clearly are not observant or used to discreet and impeccable design. A glorious full height mirrored cabinet is located in the room, with a full bar, Nespresso coffee service, Tea, snacks, and refrigerator. The touch of an included breakfast delivered to the room and bottled water and a treat delivered at night was appreciated. I recommend this hotel to those who want true discreet luxury that is comfortable as a beach hotel should be. The staff radiates the same feel.

We absolutely loved this place. Our favorite stay on a recent extended vacation to Europe and now among my overall favorite places to stay worldwide. It's a perfect location close to Antibes and Cannes but tucked away in a quiet corner of Cap d'Antibes so you have access to the craziness but can avoid it when you want. The hotel itself is in excellent condition. It has a very nice retro vibe on the outside but the rooms and common areas have a very cool, clean look and feel. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We had rooms on both sides of the hotel on upper floors and they were great. Both had nice views and one had a very spacious balcony overlooking the pool, marina and ocean. I saw other reviews complain about the shutters that close and night and open in the mornings. They kept the rooms enjoyable dark for sleeping and we had no issues with sounds in the morning when people began to get up and open theirs. The staff was outstanding. The lovely ladies and the front desk were excellent hostesses and great sources of information, assistance with local transportation and resources for other inquiries. They were very friendly and always eager to help. The crew running the beach service are the hardest working beach crew on the cote d'azur. The beach manager was always on site, engaging with guests, getting people settled, fixing sun shades and etc. And his team was just as busy seating guests, taking food and drink orders, adjusting sun shades and etc -- all in the sand and the heat. Great group. The hotel manager greeted us when we checked in and I regularly saw him around the property talking with guests, conferring with staff, checking on things. He was very pleasant and engaging and his regularly presence demonstrated the commitment to quality management. The food service was super. Baba, the beach restaurant, was alot of fun. The morning breakfast service was good and very well-run. The breakfast service manager saw us getting up from our table one morning to leave and literally ran to get to the elevator before us so he could get the doors opened as we arrived. Really incredible service. Les Pêcheurs, the Michelin-starred seafood restaurant was a great treat. The decor is somewhat spare, but the quality of the service and the food is very much in keeping with the standards of a Michelin-starred restaurant. We had a great dinner there one night. Really can't say enough good things about this hotel and the team working there. They made it the lodging highlight of our entire trip and provided an incredible introduction for us to the French Riviera. Highly, highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

This is our second year in a raw in this great hotel that is perfectly located and has the best staff. From day one we were met with caring and pleasant personal, and every of our request were met without a need to mention twice. I would like to point out how great Ludovic the beach manager is. He makes sure that you are always well taken care of, comfortable, and safe. He always runs around the beach checking on the guests making sure everyone gets what they request and goes above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you!!!!

The hotel is aesthetically appealing but we visited the beach club and pool and had a frustrating experience. The staff were the main issue. They were inattentive and rude. They asked us if we wanted to sit by the pool and we agreed, however we changed our mind and asked to move to the beach (where there were plenty of free beds) and we had to wait nearly an hour to move and had to ask multiple times before anyone helped. Then we got up to go back to the pool and were told that we were not allowed to go back to the pool - this had not been explained to us. Then a member of staff proceeded to argue with me about this and made up a lie that his manager had told my wife that this would be the case if we moved (which was untrue!) We were not able to order drinks from our sunbeds and had to go up to the bar but then were ignored for long periods of time whilst the staff were stood chatting to each other. Also, we were moving our umbrella as no one was around to help and the staff ran over and stopped us from doing this. Overall, a beautiful place but not a great experience for such a high price.

We stayed in September for a week. The hotels position is great with the private beach. Our room was on the ground floor and it would of been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and what a mistake not to have them. We didn't eat in the Michelin stared restaurant. However, the food in the main restaurant was uninspiring and great if you liked courgettes as they seem to be on every dish. Cocktails varied in strength and not consistent. Breakfast was fine, but that is an easy goal to achive. The beach guys were very good, but they made sure they needed to be rewarded for their efforts, which I found disconcerting. I would stay again for its position and beach, but not much else I am very sorry to say.

We had extremely high expectations of this hotel given its location, price point and membership of Relais and Chateaux. We expected the amazing location to be accompanied by great service and food. Our arrival made us feel that we could relax as our luggage was taken from the car by the valet and it was whizzed away as we checked in and had a tour of the hotel. We quickly got changed and went down happily to the beach bar, and that’s where things started to go down hill. The staff are inattentive and have an arrogance that does not match their performance. If you dare feel ignored and approach the bar yourself to get a drink you are made to feel very unwelcome. We had one bland meal in the hotel on the first night which was immemorable save for the sharing starter of sardines. This was a 4€ tin with some bread. We were warned of this by the waiter but thought they would do something special. Silly us! We tried to stay in the hotel the next day, but got frustrated with being ignored, a complaint was made to the general manager. This fell on deaf ears and there was no improvement seen. We therefore spent the rest of our time in some of the best bars, beach clubs and restaurants Antibes have to offer. The rooms are OK. But lack simple amenities like tea and coffee facilities and irons etc. The poorly placed TV managed to clip my Husbands head several times when he got up from the desk. The worst thing though are the external metal roller shutters! I can not begin to describe the sound of them rising and falling. And you can hear every one of them when they go off. One morning I was awoken to what I thought was a child badly playing a recorder at the end of my bed, only to realise it was our next door neighbour opening their blind! From about 7am they start playing music in the corridors and the sound proofing of the room is poor. The floor outside the room is also concrete boards - this was a great idea by the architect as they really emphasise the noise of a roller suitcase and if whoever is rolling them walks at the right pace the clacking matches the timing of the music! There were two saving graces for this hotel. The breakfast staff and the spa manger and her partner. Whilst the actual breakfast is average at best, the staff are attentive and unlike anywhere else in the hotel - friendly. We also had one of the best massages we had ever had in our lives. I’ve rambled on for ages. Suffice it to say we won’t be back as I’m sure we will manage to find a far better hotel in Antibes for our next visit.

The location is really nice. Overlooking the sea and a perfect location for sunset watching. The food was disappointing. Truth be told, it was not good. The service was worse. There are many restaurants in Juan les pins/Antibes. I tried this one, and now you don’t have to. Steer away from it. Not worth it.

Whilst much about the hotel is lovely - its decor, beach, restaurant etc - with the exception of breakfast which (as other reviewers have observed) is very sub standard for a luxury hotel such as this, we would not recommend this hotel as its customer service approach falls far below what would be expected for a hotel of this calibre. Some 10 months before our stay we booked three rooms for 3 nights for what we had intended to be a very special family trip. Two were deluxe and we understood they had garden views. The third was a privilege room for which we requested a sea view room. The privilege room we were given had a side aspect with no view of the sea but a rather unattractive boat park (see others reviews for similar comments). We immediately spoke to the hotel manager about our disappointment with the room. We were given inconsistent reasons for why we weren’t allocated a room with a sea view - primarily, it would appear because others had booked before us, which begs the question why we weren’t notified of that when we requested a room with a sea view. The manager said it was too late to do anything that night (albeit 4pm, the earliest check in time) but that he would solve the problem the next day and insisted we shook hands on a ‘gentleman’s agreement’. He passed the matter onto another manager who had not been fully briefed and the next day simply offered us a more expensive room (at our cost) or a deluxe room (with a deduction of less than the rate we were already paying for the other two rooms). Forget the room, the aim was to enjoy our break and we stayed where we were. It was the lack of professional approach to customer service for a hotel that is a Relais & Châteaux that was so disappointing - no recognition of our disappointment or experience, a defensive and challenging “we never confirmed a garden view” opening response, poor handling and follow through of the matter, no real attempt to resolve the situation but instead a rather arrogant attitude that made us feel completely underwhelmed and frankly, spoiled our experience.
