We stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved the hotel. The rooms are great, clean, new and tastefully decorated. The receptionists are very friendly and informative and always willing to help with anything at all :) Great location too and we even managed to get parking for 2 nights from the hotel for free :) A+ Really good...

This is Cannes, where things tend to be expensive for nicer hotels. The good things: Staff is courteous, breakfast (which was included in my rate) is above average for France, pool was small but nice, rooms small but clean. Not good: PARKING. Don't plan on staying here if you have a car. In fact, Cannes in general is a problem...

We originally intended to stay here for only six nights, but we loved it so much that we extended to seven. Forget the expensive large hotels on the Croisette – this is THE place to stay in Cannes. I am still amazed at the value of this hotel. We paid just slightly over €100 per night – and I would...

This hotel is fantastic. Beautiful decoration and very friendly staff. The room was very clean and had a brilliant bathroom which added to the whole experience. Despite it's location on the Rue d'Antibes the windows kept the sound out. The air-con worked well, the only downside was the bed was two mattresses put together. Everything else more than made up...

Thought the reviews were too good to be true but they aren't. Snagged the Canberra 2 days before the big MIDEM conference (they must have had a cancellation). The beds are great - comfy mattresses up to US standards. Rooms are modern/contemporary design and tastefully decorated. The walls are well insulated and traffic noise not bad at all considering you're...

We chose Le Canberra for part of our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are clean, elegant and modern. The ceilings are high and they have nice quiet air-con. The hotel is located on the main shopping street (Rue d'Antibes) and was glad our room was on the quieter seaward side. That said, the windows are very well soundproofed....

One cannot ask for a better location. Close to shopping area and the Palais De Festival was just 10minutes away. Staff were very courteous and rooms were elegant. However the breakfast was a bit disappointing.... the scrambled eggs was to be avoided.... the croissants- have seen better....Muffins - so so.....

Good location and style, excellent cleaning and service. Grand lit was very comfortable. Nice view of the pool&garden area. Spacious bathroom, liked the anti-fog mirror, but not the tacky pink light in the shower. Free wi-fi, worked well. Did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Hotel Le Canberra is a swanky ultra-modern hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has a very nice pool area. The pool itself is not very large, but there is a nice sitting area around it. The hotel is about two blocks from the beach. More importantly the hotel is on Rue De Antibes which is the shopping...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A charming 4 star Boutique Hotel, the Hotel Le Canberra offers a highly elegant environment. Unrivaled in their refinement, the rooms and suites overlook the prestigious rue d'Antibes or the garden with swimming pool. This very glamorous and resolutely modern decor was inspired by the style of the 1950s. The 'classic chic' style of decoration joins forces with the superior comfort of the accommodation. Share a few moments of relaxation in the Le Cafe Blanc lounge bar and restaurant (opened from April to October). On the patio or terrace, you'll find the very same on trend and glamorous atmosphere. Then, you can head to the hotel garden and the swimming pool surrounded by bamboo and bougainvillea, or else the gym to keep yourself in shape, before finishing off with a session in the sauna. Quiet and ideally located, the hotel offers top-of-the-range services for an incomparable stay. Close to the hotel, you'll find the famous Croisette, the prestigious rue d'Antibes and its luxury shops, the Palais des Festivals, the TGV train station and sandy beaches. ... more   less
