We stayed the afternoon on the private beach. At night The security man was extremely rude, he even said that he wanted to « bash me « because we wanted to be pick up from the jetty. I am still shocked , I ll never come back again.

The location of this hotel is great, its right next to the sea and it is at the heart of a bustling, vibrant and fun place to take a holiday. That said, the hotel is pretty bland. Its 80s or 90s in design with nothing particularly memorable about it. Its also very much a family holiday holiday hotel, so if you're looking for peace and quiet when lounging on the beach then forget about it (lots of kids and noise). I'm not suggesting you shouldn't stay here, its very well run, its clean and reasonably well stocked with facilities, its just not that impressive. I would also ask for a sea view as you could otherwise be stuck with a room which overlooks what can only be described as a soulless internal courtyard (and by that I mean something that looks like a lift shaft without a lift!). End of year report: could do better.

Dear Guest, We thank you very much for this report. We appreciate this review and have been pleased to welcome you during your stay. You are right regarding the amazing spot we have, directly built on the beach and in the heart of Juan-les-Pins! W e are glad to see you loved our place. You are right as well regarding the period you choose to come as we are a family Hotel. During the summer season, families with children are delighted to enjoy our beach. We will be happy to welcome you at a better period for you, in June or September, two very nice months to have some rest at th ebeach... Very best regards,

Decent hotel in the beautiful area of Juan-Les-Pins. I’m glad I booked a sea view room because that was the only thing that was good about it. As modern as the hotel looks from the outside, serious renovations are needed inside. Rooms are worn and beat up, especially bathrooms and toilets. It was good for the price I paid, but I would be happy to pay more money for a nicer room, because it greatly impacts your experience during a vacation.

We booked 3 rooms in this hotel for a couple of nights but unfortunately had to cancel our trip. Even though we contacted the hotel way in advance about the cancellation, they still charged us the full price for all 3 rooms. I understand it might be your policy, but to be so stuck up and unwilling to meet us halfway is terrible. They could have tried to fill the rooms, it was a weekend with multiple events. Staff is arrogant and I am still waiting for my invoices after requesting them multiple times.

Dear Guest, we are sorry to tell you that we do not understand this review because it is not what really happened unfortunately. With the offer you get, we do not authorize cancellation without fees the day before the arrival. Even if you planned to cancel your booking, you did not give us any valid reason as requested on these cases. Our reservation department gave you the invoices required as soon as you asked for them. Even if this period was full of events as you said, there is no certainty yet to resell one of our 175 bedrooms, one day before the stay date. We regert you had this such experience but ask you to understand our position. We hope to welcome you soon at the Garden Beach Hotel, Very best regards,

Was going to stay in similar place in Antibes, that then was sold out. So happy to move along the coast to Juan-les-Pins, choosing this hotel. We liked the location being on the beach. Most reviews looked good, so booked a Deluxe room with sea view. Got a little concerned in the run up to our departure, that some newer reviews were not so positive. The cost of our stay was a bit more than paid in other areas of the French Riviera, so really wanted to get value for money. Anyway, on arrival it was fine. Our room was nice. All clean and tidy, even if some decor and style a little dated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were varied and plentiful. And the terrace area with sea view to eat the breakfast was nice. The only disappointing thing was the beach area. We felt the cost of sunbeds etc was excessive, and as guests we should have had a discount, and not paid the same as non residents. The building does need updating / refurb. So if done I would return here.

We stayed at this hotel two years ago and had a wonderful time. We thought everything was good. However, this time we were a little disappointed. The Hotel closes for the winter in a few weeks time so maybe this has an effect on the staff. The staff were not very friendly and not helpful which was the complete opposite from the last time we stayed. We hired sunbeds for the whole time that we were there.. (not cheap.. 15 euros per day) and during that time we were only asked if we would like any drinks once! So we went elsewhere for our drinks. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is in a PERFECT position.. beach at the back, and shops and bars at the front. With the exception of the life guard on the beach, the staff were not particularly bothered about us, seemed to be more concerned with anybody in the beach bar. There is no swimming pool, so you do need the beach! The Room.. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a Sea View balcony, which could be superb.. as its spacious and has all the facilities for a lovely stay, and amazing views. However, the rooms are a little sparse and could do with a little livening up. Perhaps some art on the walls and a few nice little touches. One of the 'little touches' which we did not like were the 'I love Garden Beach' stickers on the hotel room doors. Certainly not something that you would expect from a hotel of this quality (and price). We still like the hotel but maybe a few adjustments could be made to make the stays more enjoyable. The hotel has the potential to be Amazing! and could easily be so. We do hope to go back in the future. The Garden Beach Hotel is in Juan Les Pins which is a perfect place to stay, you can easily get to all of the well known places along the coast.. but really you could just stay in Juan les Pins as it has everything.. and more. A superb little resort.

Hotel is tired and old, location is very good with great Seaview which comes at a very high price. Even at discounted rate I paid 260 euros per day for a deluxe family suite. Beds cost extra inspite of extortionate cost which I didn't pay, and as a result wasn't even allowed to build a sand castle on the hotel beach, even though I was a guest. They said it was dangerous, said it with a straight face, I was quite amazed! When using the lobby toilet I was asked for my room number and so I showed them my card. Make no mistake this is an extremely pretentious hotel with staff to match. Breakfast buffet was OK except even a simple fried egg costs extra, what!? I won't be coming back and don't recommend it unless you are one of the owners of the three ferraris parked out front.

This is our fourth stay at this hotel and, yet again, all the staff, reception, breakfast and housekeeping were superb. Fabulous room with balcony and stunning views. Great choice of food at breakfast. Would like to mention Irina, she welcomed us upon our arrival and throughout our stay was friendly, helpful and kind. All the staff at breakfast were great but would like to pass on our thanks to Yolanda for her kindness to us.

Aren’t there walls between rooms? Too noisy. We have for a calm room on booking and hotel said to provide!... Until they have changed their mind. And what’s with your receptionist? Didn’t she have some sort of training?...

I was expecting a hotel with luxury standards, acoording to its price. But I found a poor service, with employees with passive attitude, and basic rooms with old furniture and a lot of noise from the outside. Plus I was expecting some beach days, but the beach club of the hotel was only for rent, even for the hotel guest, and it was impossible to relax there with all the children shouting and running around you. The possitive part was the location.
