Beds and pillows are good. The friendliness depends on the mood of the day, sometimes they are very friendly, sometimes they don't even look at you. It's actually a shame for such a great historic house in a perfect location in Menton. Spending a little money to renovate it and offer guests a nice experience would be appropriate here. The breakfast is mid-range, with fresh jam, cheese, ham, juice from the machine and coffee. Next time we stay at the M Ment we will definitely choose a different house.

The plus points are it’s location, overlooking the sea. We booked a double disabled room but got a twin, not that good for a wedding anniversary! However it had a walk in shower and raised toilet.
Some issues with emptying the bathroom bin, and the maid removed a screwdriver I needed for my disabled scooter. They did find it the next day.
The restaurant was unbookable until the last night
which meant we had to find somewhere to eat that was disabled friendly.
Parking is a nightmare! It’s on street or in an underground car park, albeit at a discounted rate, however if you can find a space you should pay at a pay & display, times are Monday-Saturday, 9-12, 2 -7 but there seems to be no enforcement, we saw a car with a ticket dated 3 days ago!
The website said all rooms had tea & coffee making facilities, but no, we were given a kettle, but had to pay a 20€ deposit. It also says room service but no.
If they sorted out the restaurant, tea and coffee facilities gave us a room we had booked (double not twin) and room service it might make a 4 star.
The price is a bit high for a 3 star, but as they say location, location, location.
The photos I wanted to attach were refused.
A hotel whether modern or old...
The decor may be a little dated, elements may be damaged, but no hotel worthy of its name can ignore cleanliness and hygiene.
We can offer you a great price with a sea view....but the price does not excuse everything.

Staff at the reception very young but very kind and professional; they speak Italian very well.
The restaurant staff is also very young, professional and kind.
Warning before, I had gluten-free foods.
