hotel itself clean offers ice tea at the reception' coffee water and tea available non-stop. books, toys for children and even gifts. sunscreen and oils are available near the reception, and even hat... and water i. Spray. clean rooms and great TV, shampoos and other accessories available. cool deco. elevator. from the 5th floor, sea view. Close to the sea and the center of the old town. breakfast stunning and girls very nice. squeezed juices, fruit, spinach, beans, sausages and food that I had no idea existed. yogurt with chia seeds. I worked for many years in the hotel industry (on the luxurious Queen Mary 2). this hotel should become a show hotel and training hotel for other establishments of course with this team present and manager François

Secure garage for a reasonable price, basic breakfast (no hot options), but at reception tea, coffee, water for free the whole day.

pancakes. The staff is mainly Italian and they are genuinly lovely. In fact attentive service they give you in this 3 star hotel is superior to the one we experienced in 4 or 5 stars ones where staff members are often cold and indifferent. The reception team in Ibis Styles Menton is so obliging and kind. We wanted to single out Christiano who gave us practical tips as regards to daily trips we planned. This gentelmen deserves commendation for his outstanding serving attitude and warm demenaur.
They even agreed to store our beach parasols for next year.
We stayed in family suite on 6th floor. You can view the sunrise from the balcony with partial sea view and you have another window to the west with mountain view. It is corner room. Private and quiet.
You can take your breakfast to the room if you wish, which we did once when it was more busy.
The bathroom is with bathtub and two washing basins plus seperate toilet with no sink which was annoying. What is the point going to seperate toilet when you have to enter the bathroom to wash hands anyway.
The suite is bare but practical and when you spend most of the time outside or on the balcony, it is adequate for sleeping and washing plus you have extra space and privacy for the family members.
The prices for the same period went up - what we have prepaid for 4 nights before covid had not even lasted us as a credit voucher for 3 nights, we still had to pay extra, it was far too expensive for 3* but nevertheless we were happy with our stay. Unfortunately we have experienced significant price hikes during our French Rivera 2021 holidays in other hotels too.
Ibis Styles Menton will be our default choice each year now, you won our holiday budget by being kind.




last year) we got allocated much smaller suite without outside space. I have compared my photos and difference was significant- I think it should warrant different pricing. There were no extras there: we even had to chase bathrobes which were later provided. We did not hide our disappointment as we were really looking forward to this stay. I did not suspect that there are different types of suites and that you can have less space for more money charged.
The team was really nice and tried to help but there were fully booked in August as due to their outstanding service they have a lot of repeated custom. They endeavoured to minimise our disappointment but we just really not enjoyed our accommodation this year so four stars are really to recognise front desk team: Cristiano, Sonia, David and Diego - they really care about their guests and go extra mile. Cristiano remembers details about every guest and is genuinely friendly. We will contact them directly next year rather than booking on accor.com to ensure we get the suite from last year.
