Great hotel, rooms spacious, rooms with sea view are superb, lovely large balcony, a whirlpool on the roof with terrace which is really nice, Staff really helpful and friendly, breakfast pricey for what is it, plenty of cafes around the area that would be more reasonable, location great, right opposite beach, 10 minute walk into old town, would definitely return

This hotel is in an excellent seafront location on the Menton promenade. As soon as you enter you notice a bright and modern environment. Excellent courtesy from all the staff, who also speak Italian, very kind and helpful. We arrived in the evening, but the staff was still present for check-in. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice terrace. A kettle is available for hot drinks. Excellent sleep quality. Breakfast is a buffet on the ground floor, with a choice of both sweet and savory, local cheeses and drinks. On the top floor there is a solarium with exceptional views of the sea. Possibility of having massages and treatments. Convenient location for restaurants and the beach, in a few minutes you can reach the center and the Casino. If I were to return to Menton, I would definitely stay in this property. Recommended.

Riva Art & Spa is a beautiful seaside hotel with spacious balconies that offer a peaceful place to relax while enjoying breathtaking Mediterranean and mountain views. The balconies have comfortable seating, making them the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely morning, sipping coffee and watching the sunrise.
Following a recent renovation, the hotel now boasts a stunning appearance. The rooms are modern yet elegant, providing a comfortable stay. Amenities such as TV channels, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning further enhance the guest experience. The bathrooms are impeccably clean and stocked with a good variety of toiletries, adding to the overall comfort.
The hotel staff is wonderful—attentive, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious and varied buffet breakfast. The hotel also features a rooftop spa with an incredible view of the Mediterranean. The spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and massages, providing a truly relaxing experience while listening to the sound of the waves and seagulls. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near many excellent restaurants offering a variety of gastronomic delights.

I walked to the back of the hotel at around 7:45pm on Saturday. I rang the bell without knowing that it was not the main entrance. Coming from Saint Topez, it was normal to see the door locked during the evening. The lady with glasses seemed annoyed and said, ‘Our door actually can open when people come.’ She was referring to the front door. I had the impression that having her getting up from the chair to welcome guests probably too much work for her. Later, she asked for my credit card number. I asked her what she would do with my credit card number, she said she would write down on a piece of paper. As a frequent traveler, it is normal for hotels to use credit card machine for incidental charge guarantees. To write down the credit card number on a piece of paper will be unsafe for travelers. I raised the concern to her. I also reminded her my special status allowed me for free upgrade that she totally disregarded; instead she tried to ask me to pay the difference. She also admitted that if I paid the difference with credit card, then she would have my credit card number. I refused and she threatened to cancel my booking. She also threatened to call security when I called out her bad behavior. I then called my third party travel website to have my booking cancelled. I also immediately booked another hotel which the credit card guarantee was waived due to the room was fully paid. Although, the bad behavior of the individual staff of Hotel Riva Art & Spa does not represent the hotel nor Menton. However, this is certainly reflects poorly on the hotel. I hope this hotel can hire staffs who truly understand hospitality because a lot of frequent international travelers have high expectations and simply do not tolerate poor customer service. She almost forgot to return my passport to me so how I could expect the same staff would protect my credit card number responsibly. Hiring right person at the front desk is important because it is the first contact of the hotel/city. Hire slow and fire fast always work for me !!!

You sleep well when the window is closed... Front road, rear even more road I can't get more street. Out front you can barely hear the sea rushing even though only 25 meters away. Engine noise at its finest and everywhere speed 30, which leaves no one but none behind to drive 50, 80 and more... Hotel self renovated, mattresses, pillows very good. Shower/bath small upper ok., room ok. Not nice: a tin table and an uncomfortable chair in the room. Breakfast: the Frenchman himself does not think anything of breakfast accordingly the "buffet breakfast". Staff friendly. Conclusion: For 2.3 days definitely.

We booked a room that was decent, but unfortunately, the lack of professionalism of the officials ruined our stay. I had booked and prepaid for a room for 2 adults and a child, but upon arrival they installed an umbrella bed for my 13 year old son, while the room clearly specified the possibility of an extra bed. They refused to install an extra bed and told me that we should sleep three in the same bed, without making excuses or showing any understanding. So we had to sleep three in a small bed, a very uncomfortable night. Fortunately, we only spent one night there. I am disappointed by the lack of compassion of those responsible for this hotel and would not recommend it.

Very nice seafront hotel, with a modern and well-kept style, a little outside the centre. Excellent hospitality of the staff. Breakfast at 25 euros is too expensive and the rooms are too bare, there isn't even a closed wardrobe. Slightly small bathroom.

No frills hotel, basic and clean Convenient to the beach and the Center. If you come by car parking is not available. There are (maybe) paid ones in the surroundings but they are not close to the Hotel. Prices a bit high, but average for the already high prices of Menton. The Spa, in reality, is not free and it is several aesthetic health options for a fee (expensive). Excellent receptionist staff.

$275 a night for no wifi, no 'mountain view' and random hair everywhere. There has to be a better place in Menton! Normally can live with wifi for a night but not when you pay almost 300 bucks a night! Room is stark and basic. Bed is basic and has hair on it.

We had a short taxi ride from our previous hotel so when we arrived mid morning our room was not ready. We stored our bags and made the short walk along the beach into the old town.
The location was perfect for us. It is along a quiet stretch of the beach, but still only a few minutes’ walk from the old town where there are many restaurants and attractions.
Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and comfortable; with plenty of light, a well-appointed bath, and a balcony with a sea view. The wi-fi was strong, and there were plenty of outlets for phone and laptop charging.
The staff was very helpful. They gave us some good restaurant recommendations and booked a taxi for us for our departure.
We would definitely return to this property.
