We spent 6 nights here and had a fabulous holiday. We had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony - everything was immaculate. Breakfast on the balcony was 8 euros a person and well worth it! There is parking under the hotel and buses pass by the hotel going to Nice and Monte Carlo for 1 euro!! Lots of...

It was great to spend two days at the Hotel Riva - almost everything during our stay has left a very positive impression. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony in the evening with an amazing sea view - Italy on the left and France on the right. We enjoyed swimming - the sea was perfect, the beach was a bit...

We had spent 3 pleasant days in a room with sea view, on the 5th floor. The room was a bit old fashioned but clean and comfortable, and had a big balcony with chairs and a table, where you can sit and enjoy the view. Breakfast was OK (cereals, yoghurts, croissant, jams, cakes, fruits, sausages) but nothing special - you...

Very nice place on the promenade. Sparkling clean room and bath, although Euro-small. Dozens of restaurants walkable within minutes - it felt very safe strolling around even late at night. Seaview room a must! Be prepared for lots of motor traffic in morning and on weekends. We had breakfast on our balcony all four mornings we arose - really lovely....

Lovely lovely lovely!!! Smoll and clean. If you want to hear a breez in the night and to see a beautiful sunrise in the morning - this place is for you! (it's very peaceful and romantic) you also can to buy any fresh flowers in the market to decorate your balcony and your breakfast or dinner on your own seaside...

This hotel is located directly across from the Mediteranian and on the promenade which you can drive or walk to the Italian border (approx. 4 miles). Menton is a lovely little village with lots of things to see and do. Hotel staff was wonderful. Room was clean and very quiet. The hotel also has a little restaurant in it.

It was annoying to pay for a sea view and have a palm tree blocking the view. The manager we spoke to was unhelpful and would not move our room. The hotel was nice and on the front but the staff could have been more helpful.

Riva Hôtel is an upmarket hotel for a reasonable price. I took a mountain facing room as I was at the start of my solo cycle tour from the Italian border - less than 4 km away - across the south of France. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel does not do dinners but the breakfast is sumptuous....

Very nice hotel. Generally very friendly staff, nice location right on the seafront. Pricey when compared with UK hotels but still this is the South of France. Surprisingly one of the staff members didnt understand the principle of English tea with cold milk and automatically served me Chamomile! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is an...

We stayed during the lemon festival in February and found this hotel reasonably priced, conveniently located and comfortable. Parking could be a problem in busy times - the public parking nearby has a 3 hour maximum limit, which would make a day trip impossible! It didn't bother us as we took the bus wherever we wanted to go, which was...
