The Hotel is located in a position near the sea , has a convenient paid parking from where via a lift you can reach the floor of the room. The staff speaks Italian and is friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. It's okay.

Rooms are clean, bathroom very clean; not many plugs, tiny television.
Reception is apologetic, we cannot do "..."; they don't do laundry, nor can they suggest where; they are not flexible at all.
On the positive side, when we were looking for a kettle, they supplied one - tea could be obtained from the Carrefour around the corner.
The location is good, between the tourist office and the casino; some very good restaurants nearby - (and some pretty mediocre ones too - tip, avoid the waterfront, stay inland!).

Great location with convenient garage and within easy walking distance of the old town. Spacious standard room with a large shower, great bed. Roller shutters allowed for complete black-out in the room. Staff were generous accommodating our needs.

Really enjoyed our stay, & the Chambord exceeded expectations. My 3rd floor Prestige room was cheery & bright, with lots of natural light & a fresh, pretty decor. Most rooms have a little balcony. Mine faced onto the street, & whilst it’s a lively, happening area, noise was minimal. Bathrooms are functional with quite basic products, but it did the job, & the separate loo was a bonus. Reception staff were friendly & efficient. Currently, there is no breakfast area, so if you opt to have breakfast, it’s served in-room. There are ample restaurants on the doorstep however, & the hotel is well located for the promenade.

We really enjoyed our luxury double room with a garden view. The room was spacious and had a great view of the wide garden divider of the street below. The staff were really welcoming and had great suggestions fo local sights. The location is great, easy walking distance to the train station, beach promenade and pedestrian street. The room was spotless and a terrific place for a quiet respite from sightseeing. From the room you can see the Trattoria Restaurant across the street- a great place to eat. This is a wonderful place to stay to really enjoy Menton.

last year we stayed four times at the Chambord hotel, no complaints. The welcome is perfect, day or night; the room is perfect, very comfortable bedding, perfect decoration, the bathroom is very functional, no complaints about cleanliness. I often say the word "perfect", it suits so much the staff, the rooms of this hotel. We will be back!!!!!

This hotel has just been redone, it's a little cold but...
- located in the center, you can visit the city entirely on foot,
- the rooms are extremely well designed and modern,
- those on the side are quiet,
- the staff is friendly and caring,
- there is gastronomy and small shops all around,
- prices outside high season are moderate.
Perfect for an extended stay.

Pension well located in Menton, on a nice square, close to pedestrian areas and train station. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and modern. The bedding is very comfortable. Nice balcony even if the place is quite noisy during peak hours (good soundproofing with double window).
Breakfast is hearty and correct for the Award.
The parking is very useful but actually the maneuvers can be complicated because it is small...
If you had to give a negative: we regret the absence of a kettle with some teas in the room.
Very pleased with our stay, we will surely come back!

This hotel is really disgusting. The staff are very rude and uncaring about any requests. The manager Frank is absolutely terrible. And while they claim to be newly renovated, the entire hotel smells like cigarettes and mold. I wish I could mark off a negative number for me review less than zero.
The parking is a circus in and of itself if your car will even fit into the devils mouth.
I urge you to consider another hotel. We moved after 1 night because I would not stay another moment, it’s really gross.

Response from Bernard Brincat, Propriétaire at Hotel Chambord
Responded Aug 13, 2023
Indeed we do not have a gym. That was the whole problem. You tried to find every possible excuse to get your money back. We even upgraded you. As proven by the excellent ratings and reviews on all the websites, our hotel does not have any of the disadvantages you mention. Even if our car park is a bit narrow, it does not present any difficulty for a normal vehicle. I don't know of any hotel that would refund a stay started on baseless claims. To see your behavior we do not regret our decision. Lashing out at staff who are just enforcing guidelines pretty much sums up who you are.

Clean room with Italian shower. The bed was comfortable. Close to the beach and the town with its shops and restaurants it was convenient. The underground parking is great.
We chose not to have breakfast because there are several excellent bakeries in the city.

Hello Dear Guest ! The Chambord is allways independant, we just joigned the group "interhotel" to share marketing, communication, and other facilities. The Family Tudès is allways managing the Hotel. We hope to see you next time in Menton ! truly yours, Christian Tudès.
