We always stop at this Hotel going out and returning from on our Annual trip to Italy and it never disappoints.
Staff are very helpful and accommodating.
Good rooms and comfy beds(on our return we got an upgrade to a King Suite which was fab).
Food: Breakfast was pleasant to suit most needs ,we did not dine there as we meet up with friends from Monaco ,there is a lovely roof Terrace with a bar a bar food available such as Charcutier. The views from this terrace are give a panoramic view of Menton and the mountains .
Location is perfect and every where is walkable down to the beach, harbour and Promenade restaurants and bars.
Parking under the hotel (13.5 euors daily) can be challenge if you have a large car but staff very helpful. Great location

The location was simply amazing; very easy to walk to the many beautiful beaches, near the train station - and that's only a few reasons. Usually whenever I go to the beach and have a swim and a paddle I end up getting cold after a while, but not in Menton; the water at the beaches is so clear, so clean, and such a perfect temperature. In the hotel itself the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a nice assortment of fruits, hot food, and drinks. Even though the coffee comes out of a machine, you would think it was from a cafe it was so nice. Dinner on the bliss roof terrace was good too, having the nice surroundings made it even better. Over the three nights I stayed there 2/3 of them I had dinner in the town. Not being the most ' full on ' area for tourists you kind of get the gist of the ' good spots ' and there are loads of places you can get a delicious meal for a fair price. The room was great; absolutely spotless, TV, clean bathroom and shower and a balcony. The balcony came with chairs and a table. Really handy for hanging out any wet clothes or towels. In the evenings in the town there are some great bands playing at the restaurants along the promenade. If you want to travel over the border to either Monaco or Italy it's just a skim of a stone away. As the town is equipped with a great train and bus station you can travel with ease.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. I paid extra to get a room with balcony but we ended up having a room at the first floor/basement with a ridicilous terrace with a view of concrete fence. Not even able to see the sky. Is this what people imagine to get when they book a room with balcony?? Additionally the room was next to "staff premises" and the cleaning trollies were stored at the corridor. Would you pay over 200 euros for the night? I did but not ever again.
We took breakfast which was rather lousy. Pastries were dry - maybe they had been baked days ago. The selection of food was not satisfactory - nor the quality. But it was better than nothing, but not worth of the money spent. Staff was not at all friendly. Maybe they do not even like tourists, or at least those who do not speak French. Menton is a beautiful place but I recommend you to book another hotel if you stay there. I trusted Best Western brand but should have not done it.

My reservation was for 4 nights in 1/2 board. I arrived on Sunday, March 9 in the rain. Room 207 was available for me. After installing and tidying up my things, I noticed that the television was not working. The reception comes to check and cannot solve the problem. My request for a change of room is accepted and I find myself in room 216. This room is much smaller than the 207 (too bad). It's evening, it's dark outside. My disappointment, I discover the next morning the terrace that overlooks a very unpleasant apartment with bacon clothes and many other things (I could send you the photo). I am therefore unable to enjoy the terrace (too bad again). You can go to the terrace of room 216 and see for yourself this problem opposite. Another concern, being in half board the Tuesday dinner offered a menu with fish soup(s) and salmon. I show up around 8:30 p.m. and the room staff tell me that there is no more fish soup and also that salmon is no longer available. Really a very bad surprise (too bad again)!

The cleanliness of the room and the size were excellent. The comfort of the beds and the view of the town are wonderful. The bathroom and shower are beautiful. The extremely refined breakfast with very fresh products. Excellent location in relation to the pedestrian area and the beach. Les Sablettes is also highly recommended. The public beach is also very well equipped with showers and various services and a beautiful recently renovated seafront. The only thing to improve is the internet speed in the rooms, at least in the 605 it was slow but not blocking. If I were to return to Menton I would definitely stay there. The car park is also very useful, it's a shame we couldn't use it given the maximum height of 1.80m. Close but there is plenty of reservable and affordable parking.
