The Negresco is a Nice classic, and in the past was probably one of the best hotels in Europe. We had lunch in the La Rotonde restaurant on a recent short break in Nice. The food/wine/service were all excellent, well up to the standards one would expect from this type of hotel. The restaurant is visually stunning, and a really...

The wind was howling and the waves were outrageous as rain beat against the windows of our fifth floor room at the Le Negresco. Kind of made us feel like we were back at hotel as the building rattled through the night. But we awoke to a bright sunny end-of-November day. My wife and I stepped out onto our two...

It was not my first visit nor my last, but I loved every moment. The food was great and the team in the Bar were top in all respects. We had a small group and the Negresco team took amazing care of us. Thank you

Once a great hotel, it has become rather shabby, service not as it was and crowded with tourists from the beach. There are rather tatty outlet shops inside the hotel, I would rather remember the glorious days.

I saw some very critical comments which made me a bit nervous as i arrived at Nice. While entering this building, the charm immediately overwhelmed...

We had a lovely time, the position is perfect, staff are attentive are happy to help where possible. For management - On day of check out, we had staff knock on the door twice to find out what time we would be leaving... this was hours before our checkout time. We were still in bed when one lady knocked and...

We did stay at the end of September, only for 1 night as a part of our Cote D'Azur trip and when deciding on which hotel to stay in Nice didn't have any doubts as Negresco is indeed the iconic hotel and we did never regret about our choice. From the time of arrival when we were greeted by doormen...

Expensive and clearly resting on it's laurels. Check-in was ok and we were greeted by a lady who was very pleasant and professional however the room was not ready and it was check-in time so we were offered a free coffee in the breakfast restaurant which is a pretty merry go round themed room. The coffee was AWFUL and staff...

We stayed in room 419 overlooking the sea which had amazing views. Room clean, well decorated and lovely bathroom, had all you could need. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite, we can speak little to no french but they still made you welcome. The art work is just wonderful to look round and all kept to a...
