My boyfriend and I booked 2 nights over Easter at this hotel after knowing the Swiss Beau Rivage near where we live. This in NO way compares. The one in Nice is completely worn down and looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70s or 80s. Our room was dark and noisy (despite being on the 5th floor) and...

My mum and I had a great 3 nights at beau rivage. We found a deal through Voyage Privé which was fantastic value. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great spread. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a complementary welcome drink. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the beach with deck...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Let's start with the good: the location is really fantastic. Right off the Promenade in Old Town, it's near a ton of restaurants as well as the beach. Very close to Cours Saleya. It's also a quick walk to the local train station, which is 3 stops away from the larger...

Stunning location fifty yards from the Promenade and a really well thought out design and equipment. We did have a problem with the door gaining entrance as the lock is old and unreliable, we understand a new lock has been ordered. The hotel reception staff were very kind and found a hotel bedroom to while away a few hours whilst...

In walking distance of all the places of interest. Reception area modern clean and inviting staff friendly. On the fourth floor so was pleased there was a lift. As for the room, got excited as we entered as we had a side sea view but, that meant we were on the road side and night club, we did get sleep...

I think I am now almost into double figures staying in French hotels. All of them just don't quite cut it. The beau rivage is no different. The potential is there, great location, public areas are good. Breakfast selection excellent. Plenty of room sockets and good WiFi. Clean linen, towels, robes etc. But, (We saw two rooms, as asked to...

Arrived at hotel given key to room that had dirty bed linen worn out furniture & a carpet that hadnt been cleaned from the previous guests full of grey hairs . Asked if we could view another room. The second room was so dark & small we decided to go back to the original room after being assured that the...

The hotel is not more aligned to a 4 stars standard. The rooms are spacious, but very old styled, with damaged furniture. Dust was everywhere (moquette, windows, bathroom). In the bathroom, there was a broken lamp, but the worst thing was that there were so much hair and hairs piled up between the washbasin and the mirror, that it was...

Nice hotel, good beds, very helpful personnel. Drinks are expensive but otherwise very content with my stay. Loud noise from the street you can hear in the room. Room was very clean. I would have liked a walkin shower instead of a shower in bath.
