We stayed here for 4 nights in September during our trip to Nice.
We arrived quite late in the day but we were greater by friendly and helpful staff.
The room itself was clean, not the largest but we expect that from hotels in Europe....More

On our way back home from Corse we stayed one night with two teenagers in quadruple room. The room was small but functional and tidy. The location of the hotel near everything was excellent. Breakfast was hardly worth the price.
This was our second visit to Nice, a city I love for its art, belle époque architecture, food, Promenade, and of course the deep blue Mediterranean. The Villa Victor Hugo is situated to easily enjoy all those things. It is a 10-minute walk to the...More

Suggest you take the double-bed room on the sixth floor. More expensive but better balcony views. We had a view of a church steeple lit up at night and the background view of houses on the hillside. Remember only one teabag per person provided on day of arrival. Suggest also the breakfast option in the basement. One negative: elevator is small and can fit one person with a lot of luggage when checking in and checking out. It is also quirky and can skip floors even when the button is pushed. Also there may be subway street construction activity still in progress in front of the hotel until 2018. You also need a good Google GPS map of street if walking from train station to the hotel as the streets weave. About a 10-minute walk if you don't get lost and dragging the wheeled luggage. Have fun.
