Madame and Monseiur could not have been more welcoming. They are charming, funny and helpful. We were guests in their lovely home and treated as such. Les Cygnes is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood that is just a short walk to all that Nice has to offer. The rooms are large with sitting areas or small balconies. We've stayed there...

We loved staying here with Remy and Benedicte. The other reviews were pretty much spot on. Rooms are a good size with a balcony (biggest is the ground floor, I think) and large bathrooms. The villa is on a quiet street in a fairly wealthy part of Nice near the Musee des Beaux-Artes. I would definitely consider staying here again...

The service rendered was expected and they were very welcoming. Although I thought that the language barrier was abit annoying since the female owner actually could speak English (Didn't know why she still spoke in French). We're a pretty young couple so we felt abit restricted with the things that we want to do. The room was simple yet authentic...

A charming hotel in a quiet, leafy nighborghood near the Musee des Beaux Arts. Our room was tremendous, as was the bathroom. Althought the furnishings were minimal, they were authentically French. I loved the view of old-world buildings and blossoming trees from the tiny balcony . Buses which travel to the center of Nice travel close to the hotel. Otherwise,...

We spent 3 nights in March at Hotel Villa les Cygnes and thought it was great. Well located so that walking into the heart of Nice, the beach or the train station was easy but still far enough out of the tourist strip to be more laid back and quiet. Also car parking right out the front on the street...

From the moment you arrive you feel as if you are meeting that member of the family you have so looked forward to meeting without knowing it. We have been driving around France and Italy and have stayed in many varied hotels, this one is by far the best. Upon pushing the doorbell we were greeted by the owners smiling...

If you are looking for 'no frills', clean and comfortable respite from the clamour of Nice, la Ville les Cygnes is worth considering. Greeted at the door by the charming Benedicte and Remy, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast of fresh breads, cheeses and home made orange jam (made form their own orange trees in the traditional courtyard), is served...

Staying with Bénédicte and Rémy was a little like being at home, almost like family. They were always available but not intrusive; there but not there. The villa is exactly that, a small villa located in a QUIET part of town, out of the daily bustle of the city yet within easy striking distance on foot. There is street parking...

Villa Les Cygnes is truly a unique place. My husband and I felt like we were staying as guests in a private home as opposed to a hotel. We were graciously welcomed by the managers and made to feel at home - despite a slight language barrier, they were extremely hospitable and helpful. The room and bathroom were very large,...

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights in December 2010. Remy and Benedicte were incredible hosts, provided welcoming drink upon afternoon arrival, provided a great introduction and tour of the place, provided suggestions for dining, directions, and truly enjoyed getting to know us. The amenities are fantastic, very spacious room with large bathroom, outdoor patio, and very comfortable bed (Room...
