Does it have a room with a bed? Yes. Does it do breakfast? Yes. In that respect it is a B&B.
1) The website compares it to a 4 star hotel and you have to wonder what kind of lunatic wrote the text. I would give it 2 stars.
2) There was meant to be a flat screen TV. There was a tiny old style TV. When mentioned the next day, we were told by the owner there was one in another room. And we were the first to ask about it. Too late, it has to be in the room.
3) There was meant to be air con. There was nothing. When mentioned the next day, we were told that it could be fixed. Too late, it has to be there, in the room when you move in, in working order. I have no idea what she planned to do apart fro giving us a fan. Which would not have helped.
4) There were mosquitoes in the room. Too many. The little plug-in thing was not plugged in and we had the impression the door had been left opened all day. She was generously leaving leaves of lemon geraniums in the room. That...

We paid €165 per night for this bed and breakfast. The website compares the B&B to a 4 star hotel but without having to pay extra for things like a piece of cake or a glass of champagne and to be fair, we did receive a glass of something fizzy on arrival. The property, in a pretty garden is 3 kilometres from the town of Vence and the owner recommended good places to eat and booked tables for us.
We needed a rest and a treat so booked the suite. In fact the other rooms are not significantly cheaper. The accommodation had been renovated at some stage but was beginning to look tired although the bed was comfortable. There were no toiletries( just liquid soap in automatic dispensers) or robes, which you might hope for at this kind of price. At breakfast we were given half a croissant each and bread which had been frozen and reheated to its detriment. The orange juice was the cheapest processed type. There were homemade jams. We also had scrambled eggs as we do not enjoy...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of the Provence, between Cannes and Monaco, just 15 min away from Nice International Airport, « Les Cyprès de Vence » offers you refinement and modern conveniences in a perfect calm. Christiane Bormann will have the pleasure to welcome you in her villa surrounded by its spacious shady garden, filled with scents of lavender and jasmin. The difference between a 4-stars-hotel and Les Cyprès de Vence ? None, at first sight... except that you will not get lost in endless corridors of a 200-rooms-hotel and that you will not be extra-charged for the small extras like homemade cakes or a glass of champagne served on the pool. ... more   less
