Booked this lovely hotel very last minute and we were so lucky. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was described as a small double, but was in fact spacious and airy with a view of the sea. This was a real bargain. This hotel is a short walk from the bus stops, train station the beach ,harbour... More

We loved this town and this hotel was great. It was located up the hill, so you will be walking uphill after a yummy dinner in the old town. The lobby is large and comfortable for visiting. There is a lift for getting luggage up the stairs. Our room was comfortable and clean and spacious enough for the 3 of... More

A basic, good value hotel in Villefranche-sur-Mer. We stayed from Oct. 6 through Oct. 8. We chose this hotel as a good value option in Villefranche, as we didn't want to stay in Nice. The hotel is convenient to the waterfront of Villefranche, as well as the main lower road for the bus routes to Nice and Monaco (the Octroi... More

The location within an easy walk to the old town and within a few steps of the main shops and bus stops to Nice, Villa Ephrussi (a must visit) and most stops to Monaco is ideal. The accommodation is simple and immaculately clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. My companion had a minor accident and the manager could... More

We've been here 5 yrs in a row. This hotel is in a great location. 10 min walk and you are in the charming port of Villefranche. Nice people in the hotel staff. Nice and somewhat oldstyle quaint breakfast room with great baked goods. Dont expect any "rivierastyle" flamboyancy. It has the smallest lift i have ever been in but it... More

The location of this hotel is perfect. Right in the middle of everything. We traveled with 15 guys and bikes. The staff were very accommodation and helpful. The rooms and breakfast are basic but good. My only problem is that at 6'5" the beds are short and the shower was really cramped. But it was a lovely hotel and we... More

I am a regular guest to the Hotel Le Provencal. The staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming. The Hotel is in an ideal postion to explore the town. A room with a sea view is definitely worth booking. The views are spectacular. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

They have a very friendly staff! Our beatiful room was spacious and very clean, situated towards a street, but not noisy. The sinks are not in a very good shape. Almost impossible to run cold tap water. Nice and modern looking lounge. Breakfast was all right in general but coffee was not strong enough. It takes about 10 minutes to... More

Spent 1 night here, while the room was very small it certainly sufficed. The service was excellent and the breakfast was everything you would expect from a quaint little French hotel. Excellent location, highly recommended.
